Incompetent cashier.
Unwilling manager.
Prior to purchase I specifically asked about the refund process to which I was told everything (ie keep package unopened etc), but failed to mention about refund being in the form of credit note. Had I been correctly informed of this I wouldn't have bought the item.
Male manager got involved and he was told about failure of important refund 'exchange/credit note' information the manager was all to eager to state 'Its basic legal stuff no cash refund, its all here in writing'.
Unfortunately I declined the exchange/credit note (hardly ever buy from Game) and take a financial loss.
I'm sure a full cash refund would have been an option as a gesture of good will on this occassion.
Bad customer service and defiant attitude from both cashier and manager.
I would of happily taken the loss of chin if I was only been told the full story and if their customer service would have been better.
If you are in two minds to purchase from Game, considering the exchange/credit note refunds and poor customer service. From my experience I would definitely avoid dealing with this company and buy on Amazon where refunds are dealt with correctly.
