We are extremely pleased with our garden room from Sanctuary North. The quality of the materials and the attention to detail throughout the build were second to none.

Mark guided us through the whole process from start to finish and kept us fully informed at every stage. During the build, he also helped us decide on the best options for the power layout and window positioning, which made a big difference to the final result. Nothing was too much trouble and they left the site as if they had never been.

The team were professional, reliable, and clearly took pride in their work. We would highly recommend Sanctuary North to anyone considering a garden room before you look anywhere else.

First class service and product. We were originally looking for an office pod in the garden and had an existing conservatory added by previous owners that was neither useful for one thing or the other as it was quite small. We decided to get rid of the conservatory and see if a garden room could be added to the rear of the house instead of stand alone. Michael was really helpful and although it was not the norm agreed to take it on. The conservatory was removed and we altered the slab and foundations to suit and Michael and his team came in and did the rest. We are really pleased with the end product and would highly recommend this company.

Great experience from start to finish. Website to be able to design your own garden room is great. Survey and detailed design process and advice were very good. Installation was on time and to a very high standard and the price was very competitive. Would definitely recommend.

When we first started looking for a new garden room, we were just inundated with so many options. The internet was awash with different companies. How do you choose? Well, I guess most people do what we did. You look through their websites. You look for scams. You trawl through Trustpilot and other reviews to see what other people have said. You draw up a shortlist and open up a dialogue with the chosen companies, and see what comes back. What’s their communication like? Are they pushy? Do they give you the information you need, and then leave you in peace? Or do they expect you to make a quick decision? Do they offer incentives or discount to get you to make a decision – which may be the wrong one? Then it’s down to comparing different quotations and using your own judgement to hopefully make the right decision.

And that’s what we did. But then you do have to make a decision – and boy was ours the right one. Why did we choose Garden Room Sanctuary? Well, they ticked all the boxes and we just felt comfortable with them – and particularly with Mark who was our main point of contact.

So, we took the plunge and made a decision and placed our order – for the build to happen in mid-October 2025. And this wasn’t going to be easy for them, as we live in the Highlands of Scotland – and it would take the installers a day to get up here – and a day to get home again.

Because we were so far away, we had three guys on the install, which should have taken 4 days but they actually completed it in 3 1/2 days. Josh, Danny and Scott were brilliant and made a superb job of the build, with no problems whatsoever.

I had provide Mark with detailed drawings of where I wanted to have sockets installed around the 6m x 4m room, and this was no problem whatsoever.

They turned up at 8:30 on the first day, with most of the materials they needed being delivered that same morning from a local builders merchants. And they worked hard every day, sometimes using floodlights in the evening to make the most of each day. Their progress was excellent and they clearly were very professional and knew exactly what they were doing.

The quality of the build was superb, and on the final day when I signed off everything there were no snagging queries at all. And the site was left so clean, you would not have know anyone had been there.

I cannot recommend this company highly enough. If you’re looking for a garden room that looks fantastic and will be professionally constructed and leave you with something that you will be proud of – then look no further. You will not be disappointed.

Very happy with my garden room studio. Great quality, finish and attention to detail. The teams will travel all over the country, are friendly fast and hard working. The building was completed start to finish in 4 days. I highly recommend them.

When they told me it was going to take 4 1/2 days, I couldn’t quite believe it. To my amazement, it only took 3 1/2 days from start to finish. They had to travel down from the north which ended up taking the whole Monday. They finally turned up and we had a chat about where it was going. Since I was going to be out Tuesday to Thursday most of the day I gave them a detailed drawing I made which showed the position of the plugs, heater, windows and doors. They unloaded the van and were off until the morning. They rocked up at 9:30 after a trip to the builders merchants for more material and got cracking. They worked early to late for 3 days and the progress was astonishing. They clearly knew their craft well. Turns out both builders had been building a garden room of some sort every week for the past 6-8 years. The quality of the craftsmanship is excellent.

To say I'm delighted with the result is putting it mildly. Even my wife said that it added a touch of class to our garden. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

We love the garden office the team built for us and we appreciate their flexibility during construction to implement last minute changes, such as adding an extra window on the western side of the building for additional light.

The build was quick, the guys were very responsive whenever we had questions and if something needed adjusting afterwards, Michael made sure to come and make the changes.

We highly recommend this company. So pleased with my garden office - bespoke, superior spec and overall much better value than some of the bigger, more heavily advertised names out there. You won't get glossy sales brochures and immediate visits from salesmen - and the inflated prices that go with that. Michael and his team are highly experienced and you'll get a better product at a better price.

Two very experienced workers came to build our garden studio in December working through the ice and snow to complete the build. We were able to make some minor alterations to the finish during the design stage, using LED down-lighters not in the spec options. Other minor changes were also made during the construction once we could see the interior and position partition walls precisely. The team were very polite and conscientious and cleared the site before they left carefully. They gave us lots of advice on after care for the wooden cladding and daily updates on progress. We have since moved in to the space and are very pleased with the plaster finish, quality of the construction and of the windows and doors. Several other workers have been in to complete tasks and friends who have installed garden rooms and all of them have been very impressed with the quality of the materials used, the standard of workmanship and the price charged. We thoroughly recommend Michael and his team from Garden Room Sanctuary.

We are absolutely delighted with our stunning Kingsdale 5m x 4m Garden Room. I still can’t quite believe what the two installers managed to create from scratch in just 7 working days despite the weather being horrendous. Extremely competitive price coupled with excellent service – couldn’t ask for more and have already passed their details to a friend who is looking for something similar. Thank you!

Very pleased with our garden room. Still going strong and no issues. Kept us nice and warm all winter as it’s fully insulated unlike my draughty Victorian house!

The product was exactly as ordered. The installation team although delayed, were communicate and always kept me informed on their progress and any problems they faced. A year on and it is maturing into wonderful sanctuary to work and play.
