disappointing experience

We had a very disappointing experience at the Norwegian baggage assistance desk at Oslo Gardermoen Airport.

We went to the self bag-drop as usual, but the machine was extremely slow and only printed our boarding passes, not the luggage tags. We then went to the Norwegian help desk for assistance.

The staff member helping us only managed to process one of our two bags. We simply needed a couple of minutes to remove a laptop from the second suitcase, but instead of helping us complete the process, she began a long personal conversation with the couple behind us while our issue was still unresolved.

She then handed us the luggage tag and sent us back to the self bag-drop area even though the machine was clearly not functioning properly. When we returned because the self-drop still did not work, the same passengers were still being attended to.

I then approached another available help desk position after a passenger had finished there, but was told there was a queue despite nobody waiting in that specific line.

The entire interaction felt dismissive, impatient, and unprofessional. Front-desk airport staff should be focused on helping passengers efficiently, especially when the airport’s own self-service systems are malfunctioning.

The worst experience with very long…

The worst experience with very long queues, on both outbound and inbound flights. Don't bother with this airport if you need to naked a connection. I looks like there is just one counter open for c. 500 passengers.

One of few airports I always happy to go

I think this is the best airport I visited so far. Traveller friendly, building-terminal are so big so I have no feeling that is overcrowded by people. Airport and customs staff are always very friendly and smiling.

It is quite good food in there. Little expensive but it is in Norway so prices are reasonable for this area :-D

It was clean always there.

Duty free on arrival is thing I haven't see on many airports so I consider it as a bonus.
