Great service from start to finish. Ordering was easy, and although there were a few issues with delivery, Gardoo sorted everything immediately after I contacted them. The compost and play b... See more

During this difficult time of 'Fuel Shortages' Gardoo have acted professionally through. Tia kept us fully informed and our goods were successfully delivered today. Thank You.

Great products from Gardoo, the quality is excellent on the sleepers and very competitively priced. We look forward to continued business.

Communication excellent from the moment of ordering to delivery - really pleased with the customer service.

Fair price on sleepers but the delivery of them was a joke.
A 10 hour time slot with no contact on ETA or tracking. My delivery didn't show and I wasn't told.
I had people waiting in for 10 hours to take the delivery because the courier didn't have the means to upload them.
The customer service from Gardoo was responsive but they only use email and have contact number. This is frustrating when you are sat waiting for replies.
My delivery showed up out of the blue on the second day and I had nobody to take the delivery. Luckily the driver did this alone or I would have had to pay for re-delivery.
All in all, just not good enough in this modern worl of everything being delivered, people expect much more!!
I can’t fault the delivery or the product. 25 sleepers, very competitive prices. Delivered on the day they originally stated.
There were 2 of us available as per their clear instructions when ordering but we weren’t needed as they were on a pallet and the driver delivered them exactly where need on our drive
I too was apprehensive about using this company given the Trustpilot reviews below (I have used another company in the past and should have read Trustpilot reviews before buying from the other company!)
Gardoo had the best price for Woodland Mulch so I stuck it on a Credit Card and gave Gardoo a go! I am pleased to report everything went incredibly well. Ordering process was easy and straight forward, confirmation email and then delivery date was shortly followed. The delivery driver phoned me up on the day when he was about an hour away from me which was very good! Driver was pleasant and got the pallet onto the driveway as expected.
So I for one will be using them again.
Many thanks.
How I wish I'd read the reviews here before dealing with this company. I ordered a tote bag of compost which arrived yesterday. The courier deposited the bag on the pavement, blocking it, and claiming "kerbside delivery". I asked him to deliver it to the front of my house which is standard for garden products in my experience. The courier claimed he couldn't manually manoeuvre the pallet up the drive, which was fair enough, although he had an electric pallet assist on the delivery vehicle. No attempt was made to reverse the delivery vehicle up the drive (plenty of room) and when I asked him to move it off the pavement he refused so I declined delivery. "F*** you" was his response, in front of my neighbours.
To add insult to injury the company claim the cost of returning the tote bag is almost £100!!! and so they are refusing to refund my money. I am escalating the complaint.
Don't make the same mistake as I did - don't trade with this company.

I ordered play sand for a child (860kg). As I gradually unloaded it, the bottom of the sand in the bag had a foul odour, which turned out to be mold. The bottom of the bag was moldy and the pallet it came on had large wet patch. Clearly this was stored outside in the rain for months, and is a health hazard and suitable for play sand for children! When I contacted customer service 1 week later (as I was very busy), I was rather abrutly dismissed and they claimed due to 1 week delay in reporting this, it must had gotten moldy after deliery. I took pictures on the day of delivery, which are dated, and the state of mold present means it must had developed over moths, not 1 week when it was not even raining! Not to mention that this vioilates "Consumer Contracts Regulation" which states I do not have to prove it was damaged on delivery, instead THEY have to prove it was not moldy on delivery. I am awaiting a final response before passing this to the Retail Ombudsman for investigation.
Ordered and told we would have our delivery on Friday, had confirmation of delivery and it didn't arrive. There was no communication telling us that it wouldn't be with us and we had builders here waiting to start work. Emailed Gardo and received a reply on monday stating there had veen technical issues. Fonally spoke to someone on the phone who told us there were technical issues, we know this can happen but where was our courtesy call to let us know the wood would not be with us??? Communication was very poor, considering the extortionate delivery charges you would think there would be some kind of customer care. I will never use this company again and really wish I'd read the reviews beforehand. We received our delivery today, delivery driver was really friendly and explained that the wood didn't arrived to the haulage depot until 7am this morning, so the technical issue was that it wasn't even sent to haulage for delivery on friday anyway so we have been lied to. They won't even refund delivery costs, even if they offered half the delivery back that would have been something.
Absolutely shocking customer service, many emails sent and no replies.
Have ordered almost 50 sleepers for 2 separate jobs for clients.
Delivery date was booked and I spent 10 hours at one of the addresses on the date and now onto a second day( 2 days of lost earnings due to incompetence!)
Finally get a reply claiming they were delivered, well I’m sorry but myself, my Labourer and the customer can all confirm that a delivery was not made!
Same issue as lots of other reviews. Ordered 2000l of woodland mulch to be delivered on a specific day. It didn't show up and there is no response when I try and contact Gardoo to find out where it is.
Same issue as Kirsten below. We placed an order with Gardoo and it was meant to be delivered but didn’t arrive and we haven't had any notification of where it is and when it's coming.
Delivery company claim they tried calling me but no called received. You would have thought a voicemail would have been left if they had tried (strange!)
Gardoo do not seem to be able to get hold of the delivery firm or be able to in anyway track deliveries. You would assume 25 sleepers isn’t something that would be so flakey with delivery. Are they on the truck for delivery or not? In the depot still?
Expecting to have two people ready to offload without knowing when the delivery is due is a bit of an unrealistic ask.
For those needing it the contact number is 01797 252728
We placed an order with Gardoo and it was meant to be delivered but we haven't had any notification of where it is and when it's coming? There is no contact number so it makes it very difficult to find out any information.
I ordered 7 big bags of woodchip (1000 litres per bag) and the delivery driver was so helpful - he dragged each bag with his pump truck up quite a hilly driveway and even over some rough ground to make sure the bags were in the ideal place for me to spread them - I was fully expecting the driver to just drop them at the nearest spot but he went the extra mile - i am very grateful
Absolutely the worst customer service I've seen and exceptionally bad handling of a delivery issue.
I'd ordered a large qty of sleepers to my address a month or so back, all arrived and the driver offloaded them to the road where we then subsequently moved them.
A neighbour then ordered a smaller amount, the driver couldn't manage to get them to the road (same driver as last time) and therefore couldn't deliver kerbside.
The response from Gardoo essentially invites customers to break health and safety regs/insurance by boarding their truck and trying to offload 1 tonne+ deliveries without appropriate training or safety procedures.
When questioned about the delivery, they completely lied about timings (which were all logged on cctv/telephone records) and didn't want to refund the delivery which was never actually made.
Ordered from them to try and support a local company, but their customer service has put me off recommending them to anyone for anything in the future.
Downside for them is I attend construction forums with buyers across the South East, their name will absolutely be mentioned and not in a good way.
Best Regards
Rob
Absolutely awful. Sleepers have begun to rot after less than 6 months of being installed. A product which they state should last circa 10-15 years, as per any product of this nature. Furthermore the customer service is disgusting with no acknowledgement of the poor/faulty product quality or offer to assist in replacing the goods. I would recommend this company is avoided at all costs.

with further comments following reply from Gardoo below.
I agree products naturally decay, however people invest more money in Tanalised/Pressurised timber due to its excellent weathering conditions and the longevity of the product, this should last 10-15 years, not 6 months. My timber has only been subjected to weathering, it should not have begun to rot already. Therefore your customers need to be aware of this, as they need to invest their money in a different supplier. As per The Consumer Rights Act, which states all consumers should have the right to reject goods that are unsatisfactory quality, unfit for purpose or not as described, and get a full refund. This Consumer Rights Act is not bound by your 21 days return policy and your product is clearly not fit for purpose.

My sleepers were due for delivery last Tuesday and I am still yet to receive them! Having emailed Gardoo, it is a haulier issue apparently. However, I have purchased the sleepers through Gardoo not the haulier! So to keep putting the blame on them and not giving me an answer on when I can expect my delivery is getting very frustrating. Especially considering the £260 delivery fee! As a landscaping business, it is now jeopardising my work. Terrible service - avoid.

All went very smoothly. Ordered sleepers on Wednesday and delivered on the Monday as per the date I requested.
Delivery driver called me 1 hour prior to his arrival.
Sleepers all seem to be as expected.

Great 👍 service, the sleepers ordered was exactly what I expected and the date, time was exactly what was communicated and I wouldn’t hesitate in ordering items again, thank you Kieron

Both myself and my partner took the day off work which was very difficult at short notice - for the delivery of our 36 sleepers for the delivery to not even turn up. Not impressed!!!
