Garmin forerunner s45. Very poor running watch. On the same 14K distance of running, this watch has a 500 meters difference in the measured distance. That makes it worthless as a watch used for running. I will not recommend this to anybody that considers this watch for running.
I am very unsatisfied with this product.

I do not use my Garmin Inreach and haven't used it for 9 months. It has not been possible to unsubscribe or delte my account as I getting emails saying I haven't payed for renewal.
This is simply fraud and I'm going to get rid of all my other Navionics/Garmin products.
I have now changed my VISA card, so Garmin cannot charge me. I really look forward to a law suit where Garmin will be charged for at least USD 100,000

Garmin Vivoactive 3 Music
Just bought a Vivoactive 3 Music watch (Men version) and the strap (urremme) is almost for kids (women or a very tiny man).
I contacted Garmin asking why it is so small knowing men mainly wearing it and their first response was disappointing as they just told me to buy a bigger strap (245 Kr.) which was outrages however another person took over the case and he sent a bigger strap to me.
The watch itself is quite good for the price.

Garmin EDGE 1000
I bought this product together with a new Bianci bike at Børkop cykler.
It is a very bad product. It is not able to find the sensors.
All updates are installed.
Every time I change batteries in the sensors I need to have somebody to drive beside me in a car so the Garmin can find the snsors again.

I have had the fantastic Garmin Fenix Sapphire 3 for about a year. The product is so cool but unfortunately watchband broke a week ago. I contacted support for advice about what to do, and without any questions or need of documentation they suggested sending me a brand new band for free. Two days after I received the band.
You often have to pay a serious price for the top Garmin products but it looks like you both get great products AND an exceptionally good customer-support and service.
Thank you Garmin.

If you believe in your product it is easy to back it up with great service. And this is what Garmin Denmark has done for many years. Great after sale service with no need for endless discussions.

Garmin Vivosmart 3 and maybe others from Garmin have a defect. After just few months of use, the strap will break. Probably on the left side. Unfortunately
My distribuator MyTrendyPhone will not accept this complaint. So I recommend not buying products from MyTrendyPhone and from Garmin.

Garmin products and service are fine as long as the product works and you have no need to ever have dealings with Garmin support. I would like to add that I had a Garmin 520 for some 4 years without a problem. I purchased the Garmin 1030 this May and for the first 12 rides it worked fine. Then they did an update and it all went wrong. I have spent some 5 hours on the phone, countless emails and it is still unresolved to my satisfaction. My advice to anyone considering buying one of there products. Research the market and if there is an alternative. Buy it. If not. Pray it works and you never have the need to contact them.
The products are great until you have a problem, then their customer support is poor. garmin rely mainly on the User Community to help each other rather than providing direct support. Support requests go unanswered despite their website saying they will respond in one business day or with three during very busy periods. Very unimpressed, I will look for alternatives in future.

Hi there,
I'm still waiting for my replacement Garmin after being contacted in October. I've sent my old Garmin to the address supplied and they are claiming to have not received it. I was dubious about sending it as that is the only piece of evidence I have. I had it tracked and signed, but I can't seem to find the receipt anywhere unfortunately as it was over Christmas and was a bit hectic. I'm just getting to the point now of giving up.... again for the second time.
I've never had to jump through so many loop holes to get a replacement for a broken item! I also find it very strange that you haven't received it. I've never really had a problem with post in the UK.
Honestly, I said before that I would never buy another product from you guys again, nothing has changed since the last bad review.
Right now the only reason I am still pursuing this is out of principle as the cost of this energetically has far super seeded the £80 price of the product.

I have got myself a Garmin Fenix 3. A beautiful device full of apps, stylish... There are even surf applications with swell times and wind condition.
I am a kitesurfer by the way.
I went to the water; after 3 or 4 min the watch started to vibrate and became irresponsible.
Garmin claim the watch is water resistant 100m
Now is complete dead...... thanks Garmin

I spent £600 on the fenix 5 sapphire i paid the extra £90 for wifi model as i didn't want to have to play around with bluetooth. I was hesitant to buy this watch as it's clearly not worth £600 and the internet seems to be full of unhappy customers with Garmin products.
So the watch looks good but everything else is underwhelming, the screen quality is poor, lacks colour and is very dull and hard to see.
The watch seemed to have lots of features all displayed as icons instead of telling you what they are. So i checked the manual for my £600 tiny 13 page manual to see what each icon means. There was nothing in there, so i checked their website nothing on there either and then into the forums where i found years of people trying to guess what the icons stood for, pretty poor garmin especially for such an overpriced device. I contacted garmin support and their customer service was awful i initially thought the response was a robot, they simply sent me instructions for a hard reset. I'm still not sure what icons mean, what does a man with hands in air and circle around it mean?
So i started wearing the watch, hooked it up to wifi started recording my activities. I got home and expected it to upload my activities but nothing, i had to go back into the watch and manually sync. I though maybe after a run/cycle it may sync but no it doesn't and it is supposed to auto sync i turned this on.
Then there is move IQ, this is automatically supposed to recognise when you do a sport. So i went for a cycle, then sycned my device i hunted through all my data and only when i looked at my heart rate i seen a little cycle icon. So it worked, well yes but beside this icon there is and information icon. It states than move IQ activities don't appear in any logs or records, so what is the point??? Garmin sell this feature as a main feature of the fenix 5 but it's useless, you wouldn't even know it had recorded an activity.
Then there was sleep data, first night it seemed to record data, the next 2 nights no data was recorded at all, instead all i had was 3 hours of stress data.
I've contacted Garmin support and they are terrible, they just tell you to reset and dont answer your questions.
Garmin market themselves as a premium device company, they are definitely not. They have dressed up a cheap device here, my fit bit operates better than this.
If you asked me to value the fenix 5 sapphire, i'd say £100
Avoid at all costs, i think i'm going to return this as a faulty product
Bought a new Garmin Forerunner 230 a month ago. From the beginning experiencing serious connectivity problems with bluetooth to my phone. Ever second day it loses contact and in most instances i have had to disconnect and pare again from the beginning. Have talked to Garmin support Denmark three times during the last week, have done all the stuff they asked me to do and the problem persists. They claim its a known problem with iPhone 6s. Have collegues that have the same watch and same phone without having problems. One of them actually received a new watch with help from Garmin quickly when he experienced minor bluetooth problems.
Now my watch is also having problems fiding GPS places it has never had problems with before and i can not start the timer at all, so seems completely broken. Still Garmin is underplaying my problems and claiming its not because of a product failure.
I now have to contact the retailer that sold the watch but without something written from Garmin the retailer will send it for inspection and i can wait several weeks before they realise the product is broken and they are obliged to give me a new.
Garmin, is this really the level of service you want to provide to your customers??? It is completely un acceptable!

You can't contact Garmin Service easily
I have had 3 Garmin 910xt watches over the last 3 years and all 3 have gone wrong. When I recently tried to contact Garmin I found that there was over a 20 minute wait on the phone, they don't respond to emails for 3 days and never return Tweets.
When I finally spoke to a rep he told me that a Brand new watch that they sent me 9 months ago was not covered by a warranty as the warranty only counts for the 1st watch even though they were brand new. The rep also explained that the 910xt has been discontinued as he said they knew it was faulty!
Poor customer service and my experience is that they also sell poor products but have a big brand name

GARMIN NUVI 2569LMT-D
September before last I bought the above sat nav via Halfords, yesterday it ceased to function so I contacted Garmin UK who told me that the battery would appear to have died, they would repair it but as it only had a 12 month guarantee and that had now passed it would cost £74, that is approx 50% of what a new one would cost.
I only bought the Garmin because the battery on my 8 year old TOMTOM had at last failed and Halfords said it was un-repairable, which turned out to be untrue as I was able to purchase a new battery for a few pounds on Ebay and it works perfectly, but of course the GARMIN was newer had live traffic and also acted as a hands free for my phone.
So be aware if you are looking to buy a new sat nav GARMIN's after sales service leaves a lot to be desired.
PLEASE SHARE WITH AS MANY PEOPLE AS YOU CAN, THANK YOU.
and Garmin you know where you can find me if you would like to re-consider your position
