The sleeve pattern instructions were vague and came out a lot shorter than the guide. The neck also comes out wrong. This is a shame as the main part of the project works out fine. This project is for a present. I have to work out how rectify this problem without spoiling the jumper.
I had a major issue with tension with their Flora wool which was so out their value must be incorrect. First and second replies to my queries were useless. Third reply simply stated what the tension was. When I went to email again I was told that as I had written several times I was a scammer and could not contact them again! Quite simply they did not want to admit their mistake. This would mean changing all the publicity about this wool and the text on the wool bands. Quite a big and expensive job.
I tried to talk to this company to tell them there were errors in their pattern but unless you want to write them a letter it is impossible! I am a very experienced knitter and crocheter so thought I would try one of the garnstyle patterns - DROPS 119-18. It is obviously a translation which no one has bothered to check! There are so many errors in it, it is impossible to use without a lot of trial and error. I will never ever use these patterns again.
