Would never recommend, was unable to get to my destination due to an airline issue, host falsely acted as if she was going to come up with a fair resolution. Stated she'd refund me a cleaning fee and 1 night. Now has taken back the one night and gave me a measly $55 out of $800+. I have contacted her, Airbnb, my bank to no avail and nobody will assist me. Host will not respond to multiple attempts from myself and Airbnb.

Offered a unit for rent on their website, accepted a deposit, provided a confirmation then said it was not available and tried to sell me on a different unit, different time, different location. Highly deceptive company dealing unethically.

We booked a rental home with gathervacations and paid upfront for our family holiday. Those holidays were very important to us and something we've been waiting for 3 years. Gathervacations sais they sent a rental agreement after I paid and that I had 24h to sign and return it. I never got this email. 3 months later when I called them to confirm we're coming they tell me the rental has been canceled because I never signed the agreement (that I never got) !
I spoke to the manager who refused to accomodate us in another property that he had available at these dates. He wanted me to pay 3 times the price I originally paid and that new property wasn't even in the same location I originally booked.

This has to be, hands down, the best addition to the mainland USA vacation rentals booking options! Locally managed homes in spotless condition. Best service I’ve ever received.
