Promoting individual programmes

It is extremely annoying everyone I turn on GB news I have to repeatedly listen to advertising of individual programmes by its presenters.
BECAUSE OF THIS I AM GOING TO STOP WATCHING GB NEWS I WILL REVISIT IN ONE MONTH AND SEE IF THE FORMAT HAS BEEN ALTERED

I love watching GB news but the app is awful

I love watching GB news. It is so refreshing to listen to people expressing their views as well as listening to what the general public are saying. They are badly let down by the design and function of their app. Firstly there are far too many adverts. Secondly, you cannot do anything without a drop down screen inviting the reader to subscribe to a membership option. When that happens, everything that you have tried to open, read or participate in totally disappears. I love the puzzles section but for the last few days have been unable to even start doing any of the puzzles other than the Great British crossword and even that can be lost half way through. Such a disappointment.

Non-news.

There's a reason this channel is classed as an entertainment channel and not news, it in no way adheres to ofcom regulations for reducing bias. It's an echo chamber of the very right wing of politics, speading misinformation, and promoting an agenda of prejudism and hate. Many points raised can be easily disproven by a five second search on Google.

Started so well, just metropolitan commercial rubbish now.

I have been with GBNews since the start & tolerated the poor quality production & appreciate the honesty.

Really bad decision to lose Headliners as many night workers loved it but now not being able to comment unless a member is pretty foolish, like Reform it has plenty of private support from people that don't want to be a name or number.

Added to that my critisizm of paywalled stories on X got me blocked, funny really as GBNews are supposed to support free speech.

It's inability to deal with the inevitable lefties attacking it is alienating its silent but large hidden support.

I used to like this channel

I used to like this channel, but as there presenters have swopped from jeans to suits, the site has become terribly annoying. If there are more than 2 people in the studio at any one time the only way to make there point is he/she who can shout loudest to drown the others microphone out...with a panel, forget trying to follow it, its like a load of kids in a nursery, all shouting over one another and trying to there point across...Andrea Walker/Ash one of the worst. News on the hour, forget it, everyone does a monologue on the hour...usually 5-10 past the hour when news comes on. Prior to news, intro to up and coming program.....adverts, so many of them, usually always followed by 5 min intro to upcoming program, having introduced it before news. as for bias...each presenter has his views and pushes it throughout the program.....some presenters have hate running through there veins, they are so evil, they have to be switched off

Biased, dangerous garbage

GB News is absolute brain rot. It's owned by right wing hedge fund managers and functions solely as a biased propaganda machine pushing an agenda. They constantly breach standards, yet somehow stay on air.
Its not a legitimate news source and refuses to adhere to decent standards.
Ofcom needs to grow a spine and do something before this "channel" does more damage.

I used to be a big fan of this…

I used to be a big fan of this 'alternative' news channel. But for the last few months it has gone right off. Now they are doing a damned good job of knocking the over Seventies group. Ellie Costello and Eamon Holmes both said, on Tuesday 6th January, that all over Seventy year olds should have more tests because there are too many cars on the road and these older drivers are dangerous!! So are we to stop driving regardless of ability and experience? Then the next day these same two presenters are advocating the removal of the free bus pass for all the over Sixty plus year olds. We'll all just have to walk. Ageism at its very worst. Do they not think that they will never get old. Shameful. Also, if they call this channel Great British News then why is it all World Wide News or London News. Nothing north of Watford gap. I've stopped watching....

What a heap of vile rubbish this channel is

How can I even begin to say what a god awful embarrassment to our nation this channel is. It's as if someone went around every tatty estate social club in Britain, took all their ignorant bigoted conversations and made a TV show about it. Somehow this channel gets away with being openly racist, blatantly biased in favour of Reform UK, undermines our democracy and supports foreign dictators. The irony is that many of the so called "right wing heroes" who are supported by their viewers, such as Rupert Lowe and Tommy Robinson, are actually banned from this apparent platform of free speech just because Nigel Farage doesn't like them. And anyone with half a brain can see that Farage is a massive melt, crumbling to pieces every time he's challenged, playing the victim whenever he's criticised and blacklisting anyone who's a threat to his ego.

It's typically watched by the same lot who fly tip flags everywhere and vandalise public property with red crosses. They call it GB "News" but it's barely news, it's a political talkshow that has 3 different topics of conversation. Complaining about migrants, complaining about Labour or complaining about Meghan Markle. They bring the odd lefty on now and then, much to the distain of their viewers, just to appease Ofcom.

It's also worth pointing out how dangerous this channel is with their support towards international criminals like Putin and Netanyahu. I was absolutely disgusted to see presenters on here calling Putin's invasion of Ukraine a "Special military operation". It's also full of individuals who still try to defend Donald Trump's attempt at overturning a US election, but in fairness Trump is worshipped by their viewers as a literal god.

The whole thing is quite sickening. Ofcom need to stop being so soft on them and take appropriate action.

Unbelievable

Unbelievable. Stumbled upon this on my tv menu and shocked at the level of ignorance and open racism. It’s like we’ve gone back in time 200 years and it’s becoming more and more mainstream. Very sad that so many British people have fallen for the scaremongering scapegoating. Talking about how it’s silly we are for sending museum artifacts back to the countries we stole them from and “people go and see these things in museums for the artifacts they are, not where they came from or how they got here” is a quote from a discussion. Really sums up the level of obnoxiousness.

Production team get a grip.

Overall I prefer to watch GB News but their production team need to get a grip, when the presenters switch to a link it’s either to early or to late, professional broadcasters must be pulling their teeth out.
