Used G.D. Mills Plumbing and Heating for the first time and was very impressed. Ryan done some urgent work in my kitchen at short notice - all were done professionally and to a high standard. Would definitely recommend and use them again.

Ryan was very helpful and professional. Diagnosed the cause of leak and fixed this efficiently. Took time to explain what issue was and how he would fix this.

Just had Gary in to replace a leaking central heating pump. He came at short notice on a Bank Holiday! Very impressed (as usual) with his expertise. His charges are very fair too. Will continue to use his company. Highly recommended!

I just had G.D.Mills remove an existing hot & cold water system and replace with new water heater & ancillary equipment. From start to finish I found the company great to work with. From initial review & costing by Gary through to the actual work by Ryan nothing but praise. Removal & fitting of new system took only 3-Hrs & everything was tidied up & old system removed. Ryan took time to explain fully how the system worked & how best to run it - Very knowledgeable. Would have no hesitation to recommend, they are my goto plumbing & heating specialists.

Stuck valve on water tank, called GD Mills and they were out within an hour, initially simply lubricated the valve and did not charge for the visit but explained it may need replaced, very rare these days. The temporary fix last around a month before the valve stuck again, called back and they were out same day and replaced the valve. Excellent friendly service and would recommend and use again.

I have had issues for some time with a sani-lav installed by the previous occupants.

Gary gave me a tip to discover if there was constant dripping causing the problems.

There was, and Gary very quickly arranged to come over and replace the inlet valve.
Problem solved!

He was very helpful, and patiently answered all my questions.

Everybody's worst fear about their central heating breaking down when you most need it happened to us on 30th December, the evening before New Year's eve. The annual service had been done at the beginning of the month with a reassuring clean bill of health, but the dreaded F28/F29 fault code showed up on the 30th. Despite being on holiday Gary was there first thing the following morning to diagnose and try to fix the problem which proved very difficult to do. Although it couldn't be fixed on the day, Gary was straight back after the New Year with the solution having worked out what could possibly be causing the problem. The relief for both of us when the boiler fired back into life was palpable. This was an outstanding example of customer care of the highest order in doing everything possible not to let the customer down. Rare and highly valued these days! Thank you Gary. You've got a customer for life and I am delighted to give you the highest praise and recommendation.

Recommended by an industry contact, Ryan proved the ideal man for what turned out to be a tricky job – replacing a shower cartridge in a walk-in shower in a rental property. Except it wasn't quite so simple: part of the old cartridge refused to come out, until Ryan persuaded it to cooperate. Great problem solving, expert skills, prompt service and good communication – and very reasonably priced. Thanks Ryan for a great job.

Gary and Ryan installed a new Vaillant boiler for us recently.
They did their work with superb professional efficiency.
We have used them for a number of other plumbing issues for the past few years and they have always responded quickly.

Father and son duo, great people, proper caring tradesman who take pride in their jobs very clearly. Just let them in and trusted them to do what needed to be done and I was away for the day.
Did a great job on my boiler which caused a very small issue in the flush tank and they didn’t wait to ask, just fixed it proactively which I really appreciate. Fully recommend them, quality of materials used is high!
