I was a bit sceptical about buying the BC1 considering it is one of/is the cheapest battery powered PA speaker in the market but I thought that I would give it a go and I must say, it is definitely worth the money for what you are getting. The controls are very simple and feel nice to use. The build quality is excellent for the price. The thing is only 200w so it doesn’t get ridiculously loud but despite that, it can throw sound very far, and even at full volume (just before clipping) it doesn’t sound distorted and has some nice bass for such a small speaker. It has a very clear sound, perfect for outdoor scenarios as long as you can get it high enough on a stand. I’m not sure if it is mentioned at all but it seems to have a replaceable battery if needed. The fact that you can wirelessly connect a second speaker to have a true wireless stereo pair, seriously has me considering getting a second speaker. Bear in mind this only works with Bluetooth, if you use any of the rear inputs, you need to hardwire them together. Overall, well done Behringer, a very good speaker for its competition, I do recommend getting one if you are in the market for a battery PA speaker if you don’t want to break the bank.
