The Flow 8 is a brilliant mixer that was easy to set up, ( I have dementia) with a bit of help. I’m now using it without any problems. It has changed my preforming to a higher level.

Talk about bang for you buck! The features of this mixer at this price point are amazing. My son’s a saxophonist and this has been a game changer. I can be in the middle of the audience and tweak the levels and effects from my iPad hearing exactly what they are hearing, no more running to the mixer to try something and back out to see how it sounds. Two separate Bluetooth connections, one for the control app and one for audio makes it so versatile and the ability to save multiple configs and reload them at the tap of a button in the app is simplicity at its best. I can’t recommend this mixer enough. If I had one gripe, it’s the micro USB power connector, it should really be a USB C in this day and age, but that’s really reaching to find fault.

Audio sound quality is acceptable and there is an awful lot for your money , however there is a pretty steep learning curve to get accustomed to handling all these facilities. Sharing so few physical controls across mixing, monitoring and effects can be challenging and the app is flaky with some facilities not working at all. For example each channel has a choice of 2 forms of eq. One is a basic 3 band eq switchable to a graphic. Switching is done in the app. Every time I have tried to change to graphic the app has crashed. There are supposed ‘fixes’ to the app problems but they involve reinstalling the app., this didn’t work for me and obviously it’s a pain reinstalling when in the middle of trying to work…

Great quality compact digital mixer with some physical controls. Sounds superb. Good 4 band EQ and compression on the channels, 9 band EQ on the output. Would like phase reversal option for live. One negative is the app is far more battery hungry than other similar apps (eg X-Air app). Fine for a couple of hours, but not ideal for running an Open Mic. Take a power bank!
