This kit is the limited edition "50th Anniversary Reissue" of the original 1980's Superstar kits which were then top of Tama's product line (confusingly the current production "Superstar Classic" kits are fairly low in Tama's range and very different in many important ways). This is a fabulous kit, with attributes of older kits that are mysteriously less popular these days (e.g. thicker shells, tom holder on BD, no silly resonance mounts, etc.). And good value for money for a kit of this quality and sound.
