Really enjoying this bass so far. First gig tomorrow and I think the naturally bright, fairly aggressive and growly tone will help me cut through in my 7 piece band. Of course there's lots of control over the tone with not only overall mid range cut and boost, but with also with 3 different mid range frequencies to cut or boost. Slightly wider string spacing than my other 5 string, very comfortable and fast neck, not a heavy bass. Finish is low gloss/matt with an attractive burl top. I probably wouldn't want this as my only bass perhaps but as it's quite different from my other basses but as I'm out there gigging pretty regularly I feel I'm going to be choosing it quite often.
