My live rig uses a Bose PA, but after lugging it up and down our steep stairs for years, I finally decided to get a second PA for practice. This thing is great! Took a while to understand the interaction between the Sub and the Top speaker, and some new cables, but it sounds really good with my small Xenyx mixer. Great service and comms too.

No UK kettle leads - updated
Update 2/9/26. I received a reply from Gear4Music (directly and in their response below) saying they have now sent me a UK kettle lead. Bravo for such a quick response. However, they only sent one! I bought a pair of Kali IN-5 monitors (costing well over £500). It's almost as though the customer support rep didn't bother to look at my concern properly (duh). I imagine that means they have not addressed the legality of sending them out with European plugs in the first place. Why would I be comfortable trusting a distributor who doesn't adhere to the law (or properly handle complaints)?
No change in my rating, only in my decision to buy elsewhere in future.
Purchase was easy. Price was OK (if not cheap compared with other suppliers who did not offer Klarna). Delivery was very fast (although I begrudge paying £6.95 even for Saturday delivery on over £500 of items purchased).
The reason for the rating was the failure to include UK kettle leads, which I am pretty sure is a criminal offence, let alone frustrating. Plugs and Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994.

I knew what I wanted...
I knew what I wanted...a decent, playable, yet budget bass guitar for occasional use. I didn't have the time or the inclination to travel 30 miles round-trip to "try-out" ten basses in a music shop scenario. Mail order was an obvious choice; and the best at it, in my experience, is Gear4Music.
A wide variety of instruments at all price points, well curated & delivered to your door. Nice.
Incidentally, I never give "5" stars - 4 is as high as I go...99% of all germs'n'that.
