Genius Energy Reviews 

The system was installed yesterday, and is generating electricity now.
I am impressed with the installation, and am glad to see it is already productive. I will be happier to see the difference the loft Insulation and new boiler make to my fuel consumption and, therefore, my bills.
In my opinion, this is the kind of system all houses should have installed, because it produces no carbondioxide, and reduces the load from other energy sources generated by fossil fuels.
I would recommend this system and especially Genius Energy to others who have the resources to see it through. As Genius Energy are supplying me with a complete package (Solar Panels, Boiler and Insulation) the panels are given their most optimum environment in which to excel.

OBSERVATIONS
I have been monitoring the output from the solar panels today, and found that with an 'Equinox' day of poor weather condirions, I had 6.1 KW from the system between 9:30 AM and dark. The system went in yesterday around 4 PM-ish, but I didn't count that as part of today.
I will continue measuring on the hour through a whole day this week, to check the system is working to my expected capacity. On a bright period during the day I had as much as 1.49 KW in one hour (2:30 PM til 3:30 PM). But most of the day was 8/8 cloud, and output hovered around 0.8 KW per hour. This still covers my needs from the system, with some spare.

So far so good.The staff are all really helpful and knowledgeable. I have downloaded the app and now meter readings are done in seconds!!!

We had solar panels installed in December 2014 .Installed in the time specified. Happy with panels so far. not overly impressed with the Owl Intuition and sent the LED bulbs back as they worked out far too expensive.
We have just had the panels cleaned for the first time.
Friendly guy turned up he was polite and got on with the cleaning straight away. I was happy with the service provided.

From the moment the the consultant came to discuss instalation to the scaffolding been taken down I can not fault them. All of the contractors were polite efficient. The after care team are great. All together would recommend genius Energy

The genius energy adviser Deepak has answered most of our question and we are satisfied with them.
The surveyor who came to do pre instalment survey came on time and explained our question.
The solar fitting team and equipment arrived on time.
they did good job in fitting.
after finishing the work the solar panel and electrician left are the rubbish of empty boxes and other litter in front of house.
I was expecting them to take the rubbish and leave our house nice and tidy which never happened.
I would like to say that panel fitter should instruct to take the empty boxes rubbish after they finished their job.

From our first contact with Genius energy, they have been extremely helpful and professional. Their representative who came out to us had an in depth knowledge of the systems and was able to advise us on what was best suited to our bespoke needs. The fitters and electrician were also very professional in their work. Leaving things clean and tidy. Overall we are very happy.

A few hiccups - but the electrician sent out on Friday (Mike?) made up for all those - now everything sorted and working! Sophie is always very helpful too. Now to make all those savings.....the proof of the pudding is in the eating!!

Had the meeting all the paperwork looked good so went ahead can't fault the service in the offset but as the months went on we were spending out the money and not getting what was sold to us back. Gave it a good 10 months to see if it was just bad luck but still we were not getting the savings as promised. Tried to contact our personal contact who in the 10 months had changed 3 times and we never got to speak to anyone of them always someone else, asked what to do in the event of a complaint and was told put it in writing or send an email which I did and to this date we haven't had a single phone call or any correspondence from them have now took it to a claims court as a mis sold product and awaiting a verdict.
Advise to anyone out there do not believe the hype and steer clear from solar panels.

I would recommend Genius without reservation. They are a professional company who explain the benefit of solar panels but without any pressure to buy whatsoever The installation was completed without problem and on time the scaffolding was taken down the following day. I look forward to the savings we will make as it is wonderful to have appliances working and the electricity meter is still not whizzing round as it did.

I have solar world panels from Genius Energy, which are very good panels, unfortunately they are not worth the 13k I paid for them, I have since been advised by independant sources that the average install cost for my system is 6.5k. Only one happy person to come out of this deal and it is not me. geniusenergy.co.uk are definately the most high cost in the uk, I could have purchased two completely seperate systems for what these cost me. It is going to be a long tme before these are paid off. I should have done my homework first.

Installed in 2014, didnt realise until after install that I had been sold a system at twice the going rate.. Paid over £13k for a 4kw solar system with 24 x LED's for a 3 bed house and a device that is claimed to reduce energy coming in. Didnt work for me. I believed the salesman who came to see me that this was the going rate. I know, I should have got two more quotes first, but I was recommended by a frriend who also has a system and who also wishes he now hadnt. On top of that the system is even making the savings that I was told. So I am left with a big monthly bill and nothing to show for it.

Got nowhere trying to speak to Genius Energy. Buyer Beware.
