It’s been almost 2 months since my purchase (~120 eur). Both items available within 2-3 days. After 2 weeks, I’ve received 1 item (18 eur). No sign of the other. I’ve tried contacting on a regular basis. After 1.5 months I’ve received an information that the product was never available and they wanted to contact me about it. I’ve asked for a refund. Nobody cares to listen. Avoid at all cost. Left it to the German Police and requested a chargeback from my bank.

bad experience

I ordered the lamps on 4/12, it said the delivery time was 14 days. after 24 days I send an email and ask about delivery, 2 days later i send an email again, 5.1 I send mail again, no one answers. I contact paypal and they return my money after 3-4 days. I googled those lamps again and it turns out that they now have them in stock. I send an inquiry:
Hello,
do you have two pieces in stock? I need them urgently. If I pay within 24 hours, when can I expect delivery? Thank you.
response arrives:
You have made an unfair action with Paypal. We reserve the right to take legal action here because you bought B2B!
We no longer want to work with such an unfair business partner. Yes, the goods are in stock.

Fraudsters and thieves, run away from them.

The Police are now involved.

READ THIS BEFORE ORDERING ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE

On February 11th I sent an email requesting an update for an order that was placed on February 3rd. They replied to my email in an unprofessional (offensive) manner. As a result, I told them to cancel the order. They refused to cancel it. I informed them that I am aware of my consumer rights which allow me the right of withdrawal. They replied by threatening to sue me. I told them go ahead. I also told them that I will refuse whatever package they send. They insisted that they will not cancel the order.

I immediately filed a complaint with Klarna. After which, German Electronic still went ahead and sent the package even though I already told them that I no longer wanted to buy anything from them.

I refused the package and instructed DPD to return it to the sender. I emailed German Electronic again and informed them that I refused their package and they must comply with the law and cancel the order. They replied by falsely claiming that I made a business order and therefore it could not be canceled. This is categorically false.

A few days later German Electronic sent the package AGAIN but this time *my name* was listed on the shipping label as both the sender and recipient. It appears that this was done in order to prevent me from refusing it & initiating a return to sender. Regardless, I refused it again but this time I took a picture of the label which clearly showed my name listed as the sender.

I went to the police with the picture of the label and filed an official complaint of potential FRAUD by virtue of my name falsely listed as the sender. After filing my complaint with the police, I was given a case number, which I was instructed to share it with my lawyer in case I want to proceed with a civil lawsuit against GermanElectronic.

***Under German criminal law, fraud (Betrug) is defined in Section 263 of the German Criminal Code (Strafgesetzbuch, StGB). It requires an intentional deception that causes financial damage to another party or unjust enrichment to the perpetrator. This means If someone sends me a package with my name as both sender and receiver in order to trick me into accepting it (e.g., to force payment or obscure the true origin), this could potentially meet the criteria for fraud if it leads to financial loss or legal disadvantage for me.

Reply from GERMANELECTRONIC - Lampen, Leuchten und mehr

Guten Tag,

Imagine you walk into a shop

Imagine you walk into a shop, gather items to buy, and finally pay for them, as you normally would. But just when you are about to leave, the cashier says that one of the items had a wrong price. You can pay more, or leave empty handed -- no refunds.

That's pretty much what happened in my case (the wrongly priced item was shipping). After receiving hostile emails threatening with lawyers, I was refunded by PayPal. Avoid.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. Bought 12 Zigbee LED lamps. Two of them were faulty. Contacted them by e-mail to arrange return of faulty products. Waited 2 weeks, no reply. Contacted them again, stressed that I would be opening a Paypal dispute if the situation is not solved. No reply. Opened a Paypal dispute. They e-mail me to threaten me with legal actions. Very unprofessional customer servive. Ultimately Paypal refunded me fully.

Stay away from this one, I've done business online for decades, never have I seen such unprofessional and threatening tone of messages for contacting for a few faulty products.
