Well where do I start, from first contact and communication it was gleaming, the UK manager of GetHair Mr Kaan, is here to deal with any of your concerns you may have he is pleasant, friendly and approachable, he listens in detail and is always willing to help and give genuine comprehensive advise.

He sets you off in prep for the hair transplant with ease and comfort reducing anxiety and worries and also follows through on your return and during your hair growth, you know it’s an after care provision which feels comforting and supportive.

Arriving at Turkey, Istanbul, arranging pick up from the airport to being placed in a wonderful and pleasant hotel to eat and rest the night before going to the hair clinic 10mins away.

I then met with a wonderful team member the patient coordinator Sigma who has extraordinary customer pleasure qualities; She welcomed my stay and eased me into the whole process, very comforting.

To be honest it is a bit nerve racking at first, not knowing a lot of things about the hair transplant and what to expect. I then met the wonderful Doctor Tayfun and his wonderful team all welcoming me to the clinic and helping me to ease and get prepared for the operation.

I spent the whole day at the clinic in the wonderful care of the Doctor and his lovely and caring team.

The second day I went back to the clinic for after care and the results looked good.

Now i’m just waiting for my hair to grow, it will take a few months to fully grow and I can’t wait to see it, wow it’s gonna be worth it!

One piece of advice I’d say is when going to Istanbul go for more than a week, to see the historically and rich city and give a few days after operation for your hair to settle before setting off back to your country.

I have no hesitation in recommending GetHair they are excellent well experienced doctors and excellent customer service.

Ok, I have been considering doing something about my hair loss for some years and spoke to everyone who offers potential solutions, after recently reviewing a video of my summer holiday to Egypt (2014) when I was snorkelling I realised how bad my head looked when wet and I decided it was now or never. I arranged a meeting with a company in Glasgow, they were helpful but explained they fly surgeons in from abroad to do it and that they could only fit me in on a tues afternoon and then complete the following wed morning, they would be bringing over a surgeon and a nurse to do this, they did however suggest my donor area wasn't great and I could only expect 1600 grafts to be done, now this is really important and I will explain later in this message why.
Anyway the cost of this was £6800 which I was prepared to pay and I booked the surgery, they sent me the paperwork and I had five days to pay a £2000 non refundable deposit.

On the day I was going to pay the deposit my step mum called and said she had seen a company called GETHAIR on facebook and to check it out, which I did, I thought it sounded good but was terrified as it was a trip to Turkey and I have heard horror stories of people travelling abroad for ops but my wife pointed out the story in the news recently where a kids parents took their son from a hospital in Southampton to Bosnia as they had the equipment to help him that we don't have in the UK. I bit the bullet and called Kaan who was a great help, he asked me to send pics as I live I Scotland and couldn't do face to face, he then forwarded these to turkey and because of the urgency as my deposit was due , the surgeon had a good look straight away and said he could get 3000 grafts from my donor area and if he got more he wouldn't charge any extra, if he got less the price would be less, the price was £2800. I called Kaan, spoke it over with him and decided what the hell, they use the same equipment and its the same technique so why not, so I booked up for two weeks later.

I have read all the other posts on here and my experience of the driver and hotel was the same, I paid an extra £60 for the room and took my mate with me I was pretty scared , the flights for both of us cost £548, so I was much better off, the day of the surgery was a whirlwind and took nine hours in total, that was with three nurses working on me in the morning removing the hair, they managed 3150 grafts, the surgeon after that and then two nurses implanting it back in on the afternoon.

The reason the company in Glasgow suggested 1600 folicils is because there is no way one nurse and doctor could have done the work in a 8 hour window that all these people done in 9 hours, it wasn't my donor area that was bad it was the fact of time issues, they were conning me, well that is what I think, and I wouldn't have known any better if it wasn't for Kaan and Gethair,.

The surgery went well, it wasn't pain free but I didn't expect it to be, I did have some swelling around my eyes a few days letter but feel great now and I am delighted, two weeks down the line and my hair is growing all over really well, I told everyone I was getting it done because they would know anyway and we have laugh about it and I really think its totally acceptable these days, but I am super happy with what the have done, I just look as if I have a number 1 all over at the moment instead of the patchwork hair doo I had before, everyone says I look fantastic and my kids are loving the short hair look.
The girls in the hospital really looked after me and there was another Cpl of guys from France and Russia there at the same time, we had a language barrier but did have a laugh at each others heads.

I would especially like to thank Simge my patient co-ordinator she was fantastic and really explained every detail to how to achieve the best results when I got home and also Kaan who has been in touch just about every day over the last two weeks asking how things are going.

I would finish off with I know how you feel if your reading this thinking about it, I know the feeling of wanting to sit against the wall in a restaurant or avoid standing in front of people at the bar, or go swimming with kids because of hair loss, but it doesn't have to be that way, GETHAIR and Kaan will help, take the leap of faith and trust them and change your life, I have said to Kaan that if anyone considering doing it but are unsure and wants to talk it over from the patient angle that he can give out my number so that if anyone wants to chat it over then I will be happy to help anyone because I know how you feel, honestly they are worth it and will look after you. I was recommended "Get Hair" by a friend of mine who had the procedure done and was full of praise, the results i saw on him was outstanding!

I contacted Get Hair London and spoke to Kaan. Kaan was very helpful and explained the process to me, straight away i felt comfortable and confident that this is the right way to go about my hair loss "problem". I was given an appointment for a free consultation at London Islington surgery two days after the initial contact. At the consultation i felt nervous but was put at ease after speaking to Kaan, he checked my head and took a few pictures which he sent to the surgeon in Turkey and told me he will get back to me within a days and a quote.
The next day Kaan contacted me and i was told i could fly out in a weeks time and was given a price that i found more than reasonable
Before i knew it i had booked my flight and was counting the days, every now and again a question would pop into my mind and i felt comfortable enough to call Kaan and ask, he was very helpful throughout the whole process and made me and my family feel confident in the procedure.
Once's i arrived at Istanbul i was met by a gentleman who drove me to my 4 star hotel and gave me a little sightseeing trip on the way there.
Later that night i received a call from the coordinator informing me that i will be picked up the following morning at 9am.

Day 1: At the surgery the nurse and doctor explained to me the procedures they checked my blood pressure and made sure i was feeling ok.
The procedure was quick and virtually pain free (apart from the injections used to numb my head) every so often i was asked if i was ok or if i needed anything, lunch was also provided.
The procedure as a whole was very pleasant (believe it or not) the staff were very friendly and dealt with me with respect and the best customer service i have ever received.

Day 2: I was picked up at 9am and taken to the surgery i was asked how i was feeling and if everything was ok. The nurse then shampooed my head and explained how to care for my head when i get back to England. I was given all the necessary medication and was given clear instructions on how to take them. From the surgery i was taken to the airport ready for my flight.
When i returned home Kaan phoned me to check how i was doing and to see if i was happy with the results, he was very helpful and was ready to answer any questions that i had.

This experience as a whole had been very pleasant and that is thanks to Kaan and the team in Istanbul, I can honestly say that if i had to go back (hopefully i dont!) I would go back to Get Hair! I am very pleased with the results and so is my girlfriend. Getting my hair back has really boosted my confidence and i feel myself again.

After months of research online, getting in contact with different clinics in England and Dubai I was beginning to get more and more frustrated with how over priced some of the clinics were or how complicated they were making out the whole hair transplant procedure to be. Just when I was about to give up, to my relief I came across GetHair who gave me a lot of hope. My whole journey ran smoothly and I was pleased with the hospitality at Istanbul from the driver, hotel service, Dr T and his technicians. I was even given an extra 300 grafts because of the quality of my donor hairs which was great news. Now 13 days post transplant all the crust and scabs have fallen out and I'm very pleased with how my previous massive bald patch is covered with short hair at the moment and it's the perfect size as I intend to keep a stubble look. However, I should expect 15-85% of these transplanted hairs to temporary fall out within a month and start to regrow even thicker afterwards. I hope to see full results anytime between 3-12 months. I still email Kaan if I have any further queries or questions and he clarifies them for me. After spending tons of time in front of the screen, I decided Turkey is the best destination, both due to qualified surgeons and price wise. You will definitely come across very cheap options, just skip them.. This operation is not anything you want to risk, so choose a surgeon with good experience and qualifications.
Gethair's all team members are very well-mannered and helpful. The surgeon was definitely highly experienced and positive. I checked all his qualifications months before my operation.
It has been 4 months now and for the first time in 7 years, I started to style my hair. I can't describe this feeling, its priceless.

Starting with our consultation with Kaan in London, a very professional and helpful person who explained to us everythign we needed to know and more. Never tried any hard sell tactics and was always ready to help and answer questions.
Next was Adnaan and the driver (who's name I can't remember) who met us at Istanbul airport. Two very professional and considerate person. The driver gave us a considerable amount of money when he realised we didn't exchange to Turkish currency and would not have any money to eat (obviously we repaid him) but its gestures like that that leave a lasting impression.

We met with Kaan before deciding to go ahead with our transplant and we were really impressed with his presentation. There was no hard selling involved at all.. The package Kaan offered matched with our requirements so we decided to go ahead. We were met by a representative in Turkey waiting to pick us up from the airport. We were then transferred to a beautiful hotel and even given some money by the drivers as it was too late to exchange money at the time. The driver and interpretor were really helpful and reliable. On the day of the transplant, we were met by a very professional team who were really kind and considerate. They made a very good impression on us. The whole process went really smoothly. Gethair are true professionals at their job and my experience with them was beyond my expectations making them truly a 5 star service. From my first communication with Mr Kaan until the day I left Istanbul, Gethair were responsive, immediate and precise. Stepping on the plane I was really nervous but it's amazing how easy and smooth they made things for me once I stepped off it as everything was planned and organised to the minute detail so I did not have to worry about anything. At the airport I was greeted by Mr Kaan and my patient coordinator Mr Adnan who led me to a private vehicle that was waiting for me outside to transfer me to the hotel, a nice 4* hotel which, needless to say, was spotless clean and very comfortable, precisely what is need on such a trip. The surgeon Dr Tayfun Oguzoglu is very skillful and did a great job. I am very happy that he managed to give me what looks to be a great hairline and head of hair in the future. All his staff and nurses are very attentive to their job and very professional as well. My FUE surgery went very well and as expected with no glitches whatsoever. Based on my personal experience I surely can recommend Gethair to organise everything for you if you intend to have your hair restored in Istanbul. From the minute I landed in Istanbul I was treated very well, the hotel was top class and is in an ideal location near to the hospital where the transplant takes place, the hospital being very modern and of impecable cleanliness. The operation day went better than I could ever have imagined all staff are polite and well mannered and this helped calm any nervous on the day. The first rule in hair transplants are not to raise your self-expectations too much normally but with Gethair, each step of the service I received, including the operation itself, was absolutely fantastic and encouraging. After several month's of research, I ended up with 2 companies. But Gethair was simply answering even my silly questions in details at the same day and provided everything I asked for.. Which meant to me a lot, because this is not something you are buying at your local supermarket. An upsetting operation would cost you more than cash in your pocket.

Basically I chose Gethair because they kept everything very simple and transparent. I had an operation before in 2008 in another country but wasn't very happy.
They approached professionally and firstly wanted to examine all my photos in detail to see what they can suggest. Then they gave me a price quote. I had my hair operation with GetHair 7 months ago now and I have to say I am extremely pleased and satisfied with the outcome. I met with Kaan in London first and was provided with very useful information. He answered all my questions, even weird ones, honestly and never left communication afterwards.

I got the impression that they really care about your hair from the beginning. Now it has been around 7 months and we are still in touch for updates. I think the best thing is you always have a local contact back in the UK, which none of the others have. This made me feel very comfortable to be honest.

Having done a LOT of research over the years (as i advise everyone else to do the same), I finally decided that my hair had reached the stage where i was ready for a hair transplant.

Going around to different companies, i never felt any were being genuine to the level as i had expected as this involves my health; a majority of hair transplant companies try to get you to make a decision by a certain date to get an 'amazing deal', and for me, thats not looking after your clients. Anyway, the prices in the UK are just crazy! I mean i know its because doctors here have high tax to pay etc but at these prices it's ridiculous. I then dropped an email to Kaan at GetHair, and from the start i had nothing but honesty, time and space to decide how we should proceed. We spent weeks emailing before i eventually was the one who said 'i'm ready to meet and discuss this further'.

I got to the office in London and it was exactly what i expected based on the emails, just honesty and at my own pace. After sending the pictures, the doctor replied swiftly and with a detailed report saying due to a limited donor area i would get most likely 2000-2500 grafts, and with that we can work on a new hairline and work back from there. I decided i would book this offer for two months time and this was no problem again, and during that time Kaan kept in tocuh to make sure everything was ok etc. (If you can pay in full before you go, you are entitled to a 5% discount which i took them up on!)

So the 26th October 2013 came for me to fly to Turkey and i was greeted by the driver who took me to the clinic; all staff were friendly, always smiled. I met the Doctor and the staff and there were no language barriers what so ever. The transplant itself was painless! I just watched TV through the whole thing with lunch in between. As i didnt have a great donor, they took some hair from the chest also and i was thinking i would get 2000 grafts but by the end i got 3,200! (2,800 from the head and 500 from the chest) so the whole of the front and the top of the head got done; i was over the moon when i heard the news!

The next day came and i was explained everything to do with the aftercare (shampoos, lotions etc) and the driver took me to the airport and I was back in London! 3 days, no hassle, one of the best experiences of my life! I may decide to go back in 12-18 months to do the expanded crown area.

i would recommend gethair to any1 who is losing there hair after a long trip to istanbul i was greated by a private driver to the clinic the staff and sergion was very friendly good english speaking and a very clean clinic overall was impressed with the operation and the healing of my head now my hair is starting to grow back i cannot wait for the final result
