While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Just ditched my Harvest App after this.

Loved Harvest app, have used it for years, up untill they make stripe payments mandatory for all your invoices. I hate stripe. I don't want any of my clients ever paying through stripe. Payments and regular bank transfers should still be possible.

Sudden Price Increase from 600 USD / Year to $8'688 pear Year (for 3 users!)

WARNING: The company was bought by Bending Spoons , a company known for its rogue and enshitification tactics!

We got an information email that stated a sudden price increase from 600 USD / year to $8'688.00 one month before renewal. Before we had a number of seat and could use unlimited projects, tasks, invoices and so on and now every thing is 15x more expensive and usage-based. And the pricing on their marketing page does not reflect that!

Hidden $80 fee silently deducted from my first invoice — zero disclosure, zero refund

I signed up for the free trial to evaluate Harvest for my consulting practice. When my first client paid a $2,000 invoice through the platform, Harvest deducted an $80 application fee on top of Stripe's $58 processing fee — a total of $138 in fees I never agreed to. There was no warning during onboarding, no disclosure when setting up Stripe, and nothing at checkout before my client paid. When I contacted support requesting a refund, they cited a subscription cancellation policy that had nothing to do with my situation, then escalated to billing who simply explained the fee structure without offering any resolution. Charging undisclosed fees to free trial users evaluating your product is not acceptable. The time tracking features are solid, but I cannot recommend a platform that operates this way.

They will not refund you for the…

They will not refund you for the subscription even if you only used it in the 30 day trial . In the past I have never had a problem getting a refund from a company if I miss cancelling after the trial period by a few days- not harvest.
