They took my money to change my NIF address and then did not do it and will not respond to my emails.

Five months ago, I purchased a package through online services to open a bank account. It took over two months for the NIF stickers to be issued. Even after five months, there has been no progress on my bank account. Karolina, the person I regularly contact, no longer responds to any of my emails. I believe I've been scammed!

I have used their service twice. First time in March for NIF and it went super smooth, no issues whatsoever. Second time was in September for NISS and based on the other more recent reviews, the quality has dropped. Delayed replies to emails and no updates on the process. The service is quite pricy so I’d expect a better customer experience.

Nevertheless I still would recommend this company.

As I imagined: yes it is a scam. Took over 3 months and they never started the company nor even sent any of the documents required for someone else to do so. They will have a meeting for you and seem very professional, but then they just ghost you like everyone else in PT. Save your money and use a local instead, same level of sh*t service and time wasted anyway.

This organisation is an absolute shambles I got niff but as they have legal attorney I cannot get my info.from them.

They could not sort bank account and have not refunded me - waiting 2 months for a reply. Really hoping they see this and reach out to me, just do it yourself it is not that complicated wish I never went near them

I used Sortd to get a NIF, which was handled quickly. Based on that, I paid for their relocation service, and I regret that decision. Many of my questions in their WhatsApp group were ignored, replies took long hours or days. Twice I was even left waiting for weeks until I had to email them.

I eventually demanded a refund after realizing I was paying only to beg for attention. I had to hire another company to handle my relocation. Instead of processing my refund, they offered me a special opportunity to meet with the CEO. I declined and repeated my request. Since then, silence.

Only their NIF service worked for me. I should have stopped there.

End to end service is great. Process was very smooth and the team very helpful and responsive. I highly recommend them

I paid to have the address changed on my NIF and after nearly two months they won't answer emails or give me an update. I am trying to avoid duties. Update: after waiting over three months the company contacted me to say they never received payment so I had to copy the payment made June 6th because, apparently, they lost it. Still no address change.

Oh dear, a total disaster. Payed for Nifs and bank account.... Which took so long it delayed our move by 4 months. The bank account never happened despite numerous emails, and months in the waiting. We flew to Portugal and opened one ourselves. The Nifs were received, but my husband didn't receive his login codes, they said that they hadn't kept out records...we didn't realise how important this info is. My husband can't work without this, despite having residency now.... Still waiting.

I received my registration number quickly. But unfortunately, my residence address was entered incorrectly and I did not receive the password for the state portal. Attempts to resolve this issue have not been successful.

After paying €199 for remote account opening, here’s what happened:

Failed Verification: First ID attempt failed due to their system error. Took 1 week of begging for a new link.

Ghosted After POA: Finally verified, but then silence for 3 weeks—no Power of Attorney form despite promises.

Ignored Cancellation: Sent 5+ emails requesting a refund. They finally replied about POA but ignored all refund requests.

Visa Jeopardized: Their delays forced me to miss critical D7 visa deadlines.

Key Issues:

Zero accountability for broken timelines

No customer support (website chat/emails ignored)

Withholding refunds despite undelivered services

Conclusion: An unprofessional scam-like operation. Spend your money elsewhere.

Very poor and unprofessional. I sent them 12 emails in respect to company incorporation and they didn't even bother replying back and the same goes for their online chat.

I feel I'm lucky to have seen their poor behaviour in time before paying them.

Please be careful, as they appear somewhat shady to me.

We contacted getsortd for our NIF numbers while still in the UK. We had a Skype consultation to discuss which visa would be the best option for my partner as I have a EU passport. We forwarded all the required documents, took the stress away from trying to get an AIMA appointment. We are kept updated, and had our appointment after 6 month, which is quite good compared how long others are waiting, it’s for the family reunification visa. Thank you for this fast service, it was easy to fill out the form and a few days later I had my NIFF number. Takes away a lot of stress. Sara was very helpful and great to work with her

I think it's good to know that for the EU citizens ,when it comes to the password for the Financas portal,this company only applies for you,but it's not responsible for the delivery of the password to your address.
Their commitment doesnt go beyond the password request.
So if there is a delay or if you don't get it at all, all they can do is apply for you again.
While on their website, they write we will ´´provide´´ and ´´secureºº your password for you, they only apply for you.
I paid for the service in November and got mine in the end of January because I misspelled the address.
It took them a while to understand the problem and to apply again,but they helped in the end and I got it.

my experience with sortd has been disappointing.

1. I placed the order for NISS based on the documents needed on Oct 8 2024 (Passport, NIF and Address as mentioned on the website) with the understanding that it will take 3 weeks.

2. After 2 rejections it was mentioned that the NISS would need a visa.

3. I provided the visa on Dec 11 as soon as I received the same from the embassy.

4. Sadly it was refiled only on Dec 19/20.

5. It was again rejected on Jan 3. I let sortd know on Jan 3 morning. The complaint was filed Jan 8.

6. I waited till Jan 10 for any reply on the complaint.

7. I had to pay another lawyer on Jan 10 who got me my NISS on Jan 13.

They didn't even know I had got the NISS, but then claimed the NISS I got was because of their application.

Sortd isn't knowledgable enough about the process, they also lack a sense of urgency. 129 euro lost plus could join by job 5 days later than planned. Took 3 months instead of 3 weeks but still could not get it.

I purchased a 72hr NIF card. 7 DAYS AGO and haven’t even had a reply to any of my emails…
