Overall frustrating experience

Overall frustrating experience, would not buy from again. Ordered two books back in July for my partner, immediately followed up for the tracking number and to have my account linked, was told one of the books was in back order and would be in within the month and then my order would be sent. I went back and forth checking in each month and kept being told about delays in customs. Finally the book I was waiting on was in and now the second book that was originally in stock was now no longer in stock and 'another month' wait. Got refunded that, had to request shipping partially refunded because they didn't think about that when refunding the book. Was told the one book was being shipped and got 'tracking number'. Another month passed and nothing arrived, followed up with them and APC, tracked said item had not arrived at postage and just been notified of item. Ignored for a week and then suddenly saw movement saying APC had gotten my item, had ghostfire reply back with tracking number and update completely ignoring the fact that they had not sent my item for a month. Communication sucks, there was no notice the book i was buying was backstocked, their website simply states ' can be ordered on backstock' . They did give us the pdfs of the books after I complained the second month but still overall not worth buying from. I'm based in Australia, and so is their customer service and most times wait period between emails were 1-2 weeks. Order book July 8/7 and received item 24/10.

I feel like they’ve lied to me

I ordered the Dungeons of Drakkenheim maps, first by PDF and then the tactical map set. The PDF arrived immediately, as expected. I ordered the physical copy on 3rd November and contacted them a few weeks later to ask for an update.

I was provided a tracking number and I checked APC’s website. It appeared that APC were still waiting for the package so I queried it again with Ghost Fire.

I was told “The warehouse has received my [Ghost Fire’s] request and they are currently looking into it. They had a large pallet of stock go off to APC recently so fingers crossed they are just being slow getting through it all. I'll let you know as soon as I hear anything further and so sorry again for the delay.”

I had thought to contact APC as well and did receive a response from them: “Thank you for contacting APC Postal Logistics! I am showing that we received the data electronically for your parcel on 11/5/24. [I believe this is the American, not UK date] To date, we have not received the actual parcel. I would suggest that you contact the merchant you purchased from to confirm if/when your item will be sent to us for processing. Once received, parcels are processed within 24-48 hours. I apologize for any inconvenience.”

I have contacted Ghost Fire again and am awaiting their response.

Worst customer support ever

Worst customer support ever! They didn't send the product I bought, only the payment confirmation(they claim they sent it but it never arrived and yes, I checked the spam) and refuse to send the mail again since almost a month ago. They either won't answer at all, send the same mail again that didn't help instead of sending the PDF of the product/the download link or tell you to make an account. They want to force you to make an account so they can link the product to it, but even if you do they just won't do it as promised. Either they are scammers or they have the reading comprehension of a six-year-old. Never again, beware!!!
Edit: is it a coincidence that they finally linked the product after I wrote this review? Doesn't make it much better.
