This may be long. I hope informative. I had to reapply for my Stamp0 because my husband and I left Ireland, first of November, for emergency medical treatment in the United States. My husband died January 15, 2025. I had to stay in the United States to update the estate and be with family. My Stamp0 status had timed out by the time I returned to Ireland. I called Gibson, where we got the first Stamp0, to help me reinstate my Stamp0. Kellie and Jade who had originally processed our Stamp0 took care of me. I went back to them. When I got back to Ireland, the “Fog of Grief” had set in. The patience and concern as I stumbled through the process to be reinstated ... I couldn’t have asked for more. Kellie and Jade answered the same question over and over as if it was the first time. We celebrated together when the documents were submitted and even morse when I got my card. They are already coaching me for next year's reinstatement. I feel cared for and confident in my new home Ireland. That you Gibson’s for having people like Kellie and Jade on staff. I am so happy I decided to hire Gibson and Associates to pursue my Foreign Birth Registration! It was an entirely new world for me: genealogy research, the search and procurement of original documents and the overall process outlined by another (foreign) government. The law firm staff I dealt with, Amy and Leanne, were amazingly helpful, positive, courteous, concise, responsive, and professional. My application has been submitted and now the clock ticks. I had a great experience from start to finish, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this Solictors, the main thing I found was that they were communicative at each stage, I didn’t have to wait a long time for response, they handled everything and handled it well, they were professional at all times.

All the staff at Gibson & Associates did a great job helping me get my Irish citizenship through my grandmother. The staff provided clear, professional guidance through the whole process, giving me peace of mind. I recommend hiring this firm to make sure things go smoothly.

Our Solicitor was just terrible, almost lost us our new build house twice, no apologies made, she went away for 3 weeks in October and when we rang about the documents, no one knew where she was and she just left our documents sitting on her desk, she didn't bother to tell anyone about them, charged us 700e for her 'extra work' even tho she wasn't bothered to send the documents to the housing ageny. Utterly disgraceful how she behaved. I am sending in a formal complaint about her

Good value and a great service, I was kept up to date with my application throughout.

I have wanted to apply for my Irish Citizenship/Passport for many years but never did until this year. Everyone I dealt with was professional and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. There were issues with my mother’s birth certificate but Shona and Lorna were able to get it sorted out and my Passport is now on the way to me. I’m thrilled it took less than 2 months to have my passport issued once the paperwork was done.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE – AVOID GIBSON & ASSOCIATES SOLICITORS AT ALL COSTS!

I cannot express how frustrated I am with Gibson & Associates Solicitors. Their complete lack of communication and unprofessional service is absolutely shocking.

After they acquired a Dublin law firm, their customer service has been **non-existent**. Every time I try to contact them, I’m stuck in an endless loop of automated calls, with no option to speak to a real person. When I finally get through (after waiting forever), I’m either told to "call back later" or "send an email"—but guess what? THEY NEVER RESPOND!

Emails go unanswered, calls are ignored, and there’s zero accountability. How can a law firm operate like this? If they can’t even handle basic client communication, how can they be trusted with legal matters?

Waste of time, money, and patience. Do yourself a favour and find a solicitor who actually cares about their clients—because Gibson & Associates clearly don’t.
