Exceptional Professional Performance
I have contacted Giftbit in error about a dilemma that I was facing with a different gift card company. The service representative (Sofia) assisted me with helping to find the proper contact information with respect to a competiting agency. I find this to be the utmost professional preformance that one company can do for a non-cardholder of that company.

Great Support Experience Despite a Slow Start
Overall, it was a very good experience. The discussion focused on API integration, and the person assisting me (Matthew) was both knowledgeable and attentive.
The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is the initial friction caused by the testbed channel. It technically exists and can be used to ask questions, but I was told it isn’t actively monitored. As a result, it took some time before the conversation actually started, and we eventually had to switch over to the production channel to move forward.

Onboarding was okay, but...
Onboarding was okay, but I couldn't properly use the service because I can't fund my account. Used two different cards, but after couple of days of waiting they never get through.
Update: Team responded very quickly and resolved the issue. I can fund my account using CC now. I'm changing the rating to a more favorable one to reflect that.

Ease of use is great for both card…
Ease of use is great for both card buyer and recipient. Selection of gift cards is great as well.
I wish there were additional features to solve my own problem of switching out an incorrect email address. I work with numerous community members and sometimes a typo or two happens.
Additionally, building my own simple report would be nice. Sometimes, I just need to know email, $ amount sent and the date it was sent.

Did not work in Thailand
First time using Giftbit. Purchased a Giftbit for recipient in Thailand for small Baht value ($16USD = ~500 Baht) to make sure it worked with ease before placing larger future Giftbit orders. Recipient in Thailand received Giftbit and redeemed it for use at Starbucks but the QR code DID NOT WORK and would not scan at Starbucks. Giftbit said nothing could be done, no refund would be issued.

Once a reward link is opened and a specific brand's gift card is claimed with the details revealed, the value is instantly secured from that merchant.
Scanning issues can sometimes be caused by technical factors like screen brightness or merchant hardware. We’d be happy to troubleshoot with your recipient to help them use their reward.
