Terrible company, they catch you with a subscription then charge you a fortune. If you dont pay they threaten with legal action

i cancelled my free trial over 3 years ago due to the website not being useful for me and i still get emails to this day asking to pay €200+ for a subscription i never continued using. avoid at all costs

Gigmit is just another platform that profits from independent artists. It hasn’t provided any real value to any artist I’ve spoken to who has used the platform. Build a personal relationship with the bookers and festival organizers. I strongly recommend not subscribing to this service. Additionally, their cancellation policy is very complicated, and in most cases, they do not accept cancellations, which often results in being charged for another year’s subscription.

I was convinced to pay 300 euros for my subscription, as gigmit was recommended by GEMA (Germany´s performing art association) as well as Europe and other European authorities. Their website offers no genuine resource for you as a performer. They have repeated 22 festivals 10 times, that you become with an elusion that there are 220 gigs for you to apply. Gigmit has no validity in the eye of program managers, as they did not facilitate my request with venues that I know their manager in person. Therefore, gigmit even does not facilitate your applications. Finally when I deleted my account after 2 months of time-wasting applies, they refused to refund my subscription fee. Imagine you do a 300 euro purchase without having the right to cancel and refund. Please see below sentence from their dispute resolution T and C: "We are not willing or obligated to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer dispute resolution body."

I turned off my auto-renew for the yearly subscription like I do with every website. Just as it was expiring I had the money come out my bank, no warning email about renewing with Gigmit!!

I contacted them to cancel - THEY IGNORED ME.

One month on I get billed the SAME AMOUNT AGAIN?!?! I contact to complain again, and also complain about being ignored previously.

They answered the previous 'renewal' complaint, claiming to have sent multiple emails that bounced back (first person to tell me that) and advised I add them to whitelist which I done.

I kindly asked them why I was being charged again one month on and to refund the amount. RADIO SILENCE....... we know it cannot be an email issue as they got 1 through to me! and are whitelisted.
Ps. They have IGNORED 5 messages on their website also :)

They prey on upcoming artists knowing they are desperate to achieve their dreams!!

I really like how GIGMIT makes it easy for artists and venues to find each other! The site is deveolping all the time and as a PRO member I don’t have to log on and do a lot of work once I got my artist page updated and looking good.

Gigmit is a scam. They will keep charging you for years and years. You won't be able to cancel. They will send debt collection agencies after you. YOU WILL NOT GET GIGS. They cannot collect debts in the UK so just ignore

My subscription prolonged automatically and I asked if I could get my money back as Im not giving any concerts atm and they did, which Im very thankful for

I ran into a bug while trying to apply for a showcase on Gigmit, so I reached out to their support team. They got back to me the same day and fixed the issue right away. Super responsive and efficient—definitely made the process much smoother.

All gigs have 300+ applicants which makes it more or less impossible to get a gig. They have a database of venues but you will never get a gig like this. Club owners dont like spams from unknown artists, you need to build a relation first.

After a longlasting dispute about a contract with Gigmit, Sandra resolved this matter fro me and the issue is now sorted. If you had an issue with Gigmit. Dont call them scammers. Go back to your emails history and do the job of getting back to them. I know is hiddeous and takes time. But do your part. dont just come here and call people scammers. Do you part and resolve the issue. They will get back to you and resolve the matter. Thank you Sandra.

Fast and effective response! I reached out to the team for a refund since I'm unable to DJ due to the war in Israel. Sandra was understanding and promptly issued a refund. Much appreciated!

I am really happy with Gigmit. I just signed up and they gave me a €50 discount to get the annual membership. They are super friendly and every time I have an issue with the website, they help me and respond very quickly. Looking forward to my first gig. I highly recommend it.

Zero gigs from it. Just doesn't work. The pro version doesn't change anything. Do not sign up

Do not even consider engaging with this company. They are complete scammers! They managed to get my previous review removed and evidently have done the same to several other people who have had equally awful experiences with them.

I had a subscription with Gigmit for around 4 years during which time they didn’t manage to get me a single gig.

They then made it impossible to cancel my subscription telling me I was tied into a longer term than I had signed up for. I have been trying to resolve this with them for the past 4 years but they don’t answer emails or calls. Rather than respond to me they have passed the case onto debt collectors who still email me on a monthly basis demanding that I pay up.

I cannot stress this enough - do NOT give these scammers your money. You only have to look as far as the online reviews to see how many people they’ve done this to. They should be shut down.

It’s got to the point now where I will be taking legal action against them and I implore anyone who’s having a similar experience to do the same.
