We have had a really poor experience…

We have had a really poor experience dealing with a Probate issue. Three years of chasing and on occasions, sorting issues ourselves, and still we are chasing. We appreciate Covid has had an impact, but most of our experience relates to poor management and incompetence.

Veitch Penny Solicitors

Despite numerous emails requesting a quote for conveyancing nothing has been forthcoming. They have obviously gone down hill since merging with Gilbert Stephens of Exeter. Could not recommend them now.

Excellent experience

I would thoroughly recommend Gilbert Stephens based on my experience with them. Totally professional in every aspect throughout in dealing with my late Aunts estate.
I dealt with the Sidmouth office, and Jonathan Cave in particular was outstanding. From our first meeting I knew the estate would be conducted well.
I was kept imformed throughout by him, and the timescale of everything was concluded in advance of my expectations. An excellent experience
