Dreadful. Posted a review about my old company, only for them to remove it for no reason. They are protecting fraudlent businesses, and businesses that operate appallingly.

Useless, as other reviewers mentioned you can't read anything without having to disclose your whole life to them; and even then, they still block most of the reviews.

Horrendous platform, impossible to login and use since indeed acquired them. Can only look at reviews once glassdoor has forced you to write once yourself. This is a Company that demands a lot of... See more

Glassdoor? More like steel gate because of how difficult it is to access the content. It's so annoying to visit the website with their constant pop-ups in your face, and then you need to sign in to re... See more

They sent me, a beekeeper, Pensionbee adverts!

They sent me, a beekeeper, Pensionbee adverts!
I made a bug report to say I am not a pension planner! They emailed me, "Glassdoor is one of the fastest growing recruiting sites, but we do not offer services such as direct job placement or recruiting?!" They never mentioned the bug report and it seemed almost funny until I read the other reviews!

Dishonest Site

They will remove your honest reviews even when it follows the guidelines but will keep OBVIOUSLY fake reviews up and highlight them. There is no point in doing that because we all know its fake. Not only that, the fake reviews are all written the same way so it looks like it is coming from the same person yet glassdoor doesn't flag those as suspicious.

Its a horrible review site at this point. Better off using fishbowl. Also the glassdoor community is useless. Glassdoor will never be reddit, twitter or threads.

Cannot just browse, forced to write review!

As a registered person on the site, I just cannot log in simply to read reviews without being forced into writing something to get unlimited access.

I selected to add something about salary level, and a few other fields. Clicked to proceed thinking that was it, however being asked for further info asking 'can you tell me what it's like working for x'. Well no, I have already selected the topic of info I wanted to provide. I gave up in the end. It is not a user-friendly site at all.

REMOVES NEGATIVE REVIEWS FOR PROFIT...(?)

Doesn't matter whether you follow the guidelines or leave a detailed and truthful feedback on interviews and work experiences. They seem to cherrypick only the beneficial reviews to Glassdoor or other businesses. Information dissemination like in this case is a tactic commonly used by communist government and it needs to stop!

Glassdoor blocking bad reviews

Glassdoor makes it really hard to write a bad review about a bad ex employer. Their rules and pre-scanning is so high, that nearly all bad reviews will get rejected. I guess they are protecting where they get their money from. Good ones just fly through and get posted. one or two stars take about 24h to get rejected. Very employer sided page. Removed my account from them, no money making with my data anymore. They go by their community guidelines. Sorry Glassdoor but they are the problem to get real reviews. You supporting Employers and work against People that would like to tell their real reviews to warn others. Very Employer protected Reviews.

Glassdoor's Dangerous Negligence: Fraud Enabler

Glassdoor actively endangers users by maintaining the profile of fraudulent platforms, CoinUnited.io, a platform flagged as fraudulent by the Hong Kong SFC. Despite clear regulatory warnings, they refused to remove the profile, directly contributing to potential financial losses.
Their policy of prioritising database completeness over user safety is reckless. Potential job seekers and professionals: Beware of Glassdoor's unreliable platform and verify company information through official sources.
Glassdoor is no longer a trustworthy resource for company insights.

Glassdoor don't tell people who they…

Glassdoor don't tell people who they should vote for. I was unemployed while Biden was in office too. Do not blame people who voted republican for the job crisis in the United States. Disgusting your company would even insinuate that. Job boards should never bring politics into why people are not getting jobs. Truly classless!

Worthless and harmful

Worthless and harmful. Glassdoor allows any disgruntled wrong hire to spew misleading or false information baiting the employer to respond, which only lends credibility to the reviewer. Employees take a job for which they weren't suited, don't like that they actually have to work, and then cry about the fact they were disciplined for what could likely be the first time in their life. From an employee standpoint, I've spent the last 45 minutes trying to get more information about a company. Despite adding more information about myself than I would like, they still hold the information hostage until I add even more personal information. The concept of Glassdoor is sound. The execution is another story.

This website was god 10 years ago

This website was god 10 years ago, but now, with their very agressive pushing strategy (forcing you to fill you data before consulting anything) a lot of people fill just none accurate data as they don't agree with this new strategy.
The result. A position as normal accountant for 12000 EUR per month in France where this job pay roughly 1800 EUR per Month.
So, now the data you find are really inaccurate.
About job experience ? if an employee is not satisfied, of course he/she will leave a review. but sale as for customer, happy customer/employee don't usually leave review.

Best interior design team in the UK! Very organised, creative, and managed the entire project seamlessly. Took a great deal of stress away from us during the duration of the project.

Awful website

Awful website. Spent an hour writing a review, then when I went to post it, asked me for a bunch of personal info, and then took me back to the review writing page, where everything was blank again! I'm not filling everything out again. So I just wasted an hour writing a review that their crap website deleted.

Blatantly biased towards only positive…

Blatantly biased towards only positive reviews to garner favor with employers. Even including mild criticism of a company's management seems to "violate" its "terms and conditions." The site never clarifies what constitutes a violation and seems to default to treating any negative information as false and any positive information as true because the site fears lawsuits. Therefore, it lacks integrity and the reviews posted there are worthless and misleading.
