After 10 months of back-and-forth, we had to threaten a lawsuit to the CEO before GL finally installed larger AC units. Our original units were not cooling the home effectively, and Richard Janis, VP of Warranty, was completely incompetent and provided no resolution. Dozens of neighbors are still experiencing similar AC issues, which the warranty has not addressed.
Bad experience with GL HOMES :
After purchasing a newly built home from GL homes, it took 13 months to resolve numerous deficiencies and construction defects. Due to poor workmanship, i was forced to spend thousands of dollars as out of pocket expenses for repairs, never reimbursed. I could not move in for four months after closing due to floor/grout problems and unfair trade practice.
Company is not accredited by Better Business Bureau, a red flag. There are many online publicly available consumer complaints against the company i wished i had known before the purchase.
There are other reputable accredited builders in Florida.
