Outstanding TESOL Course
I have just completed the 250-hour level 5 TESOL course, which I have enormously enjoyed.
As far as professionalism is concerned, you will find teachers with plenty of years of experience in the field who will assist you each step of the way. I myself was particularly lucky as I had an excellent tutor with plenty of teaching experience both in the UK and abroad (Europe and the Middle East to name of few places where she has taught English). Her outstanding knowledge of teaching methodolgy has been extremely benefical to me and I can't wait to put what she has taught me to practice. While you study independently, you will never get the feeling of being on your own as you tutor will be ready to answer all your queries and clear up whatever doubt you should have.
These courses are also very flexible. You will need to complete your qualification within a set amount of time. However, you can purchase extra time packages at very reasonable prices if you do not manage to complete the course within the allocated time limit.
The student dashboard is user friendly and straightforward. You can create your profile, join forums to talk with fellow trainees and submit your coursework through it. It's pretty easy to use, and it gives you updates on teaching jobs availability all over the world.
If you are looking for a springboard into an EFL teaching career, then look no further than Global English. You will not be disappointed!

Essential English Grammar: 20 hour course
I have just completed the Essential English Grammar: 20 hour course online and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was the first time I had completed an online course so I was unsure how I would manage, but I found the instructions were clear from the start and it was easy to navigate through the sections of the course. Module length was perfect and generally I was able to complete each in one study session.
The dashboard is well designed and I liked being able to see at a glance how I was progressing through the course. Also keeping track of my % grade was motivating.
The varied layout of the slides was excellent and the information was clear and concise. If I struggled to understand any aspects of the course, the additional resource links were extremely useful. I soon determined the best way for me to learn was to read through the slides to the start of the questions, then to review them a second time while making a few key notes before completing the questions. The fact that there were no second chances at submitting an answer made it more important to think about the question/answer very carefully. If I did get a question wrong, the explanations given were really helpful.
I’m now starting the Advanced Level 5 course and really looking forward to it.

TESOL made a Difference!
TESOL made a Difference!
I have just completed a 40-hour Grammar course with TESOL!! How do I feel?? Ha-ha! ‘Challenged’ is the best adjective! My name is Evelyn Mwasa Kulabako and I am an Environmental Manager. I have a lot of experience teaching the English language in high schools in Uganda and in Rwanda (a predominantly French speaking society) and to Koreans living in Kampala.
At the moment I still teach English, but this time around, to Koreans online at TELLA, an emerging online English education company based in Korea. TELLA tutors teach English to Korean English learners via chat or text messaging. I am proud to say that TELLA was first founded for the express purpose of creating job opportunities for university graduates in Uganda and other East African countries. (TELLA actually sponsored me to do this course!)
With all my vast experience and teaching techniques in the English language I thought TESOL would be a walk over and I would be done with it in a flash!! (All this pomp was heavily supported by the fact that I am actually a Native speaker as I begun to speak the English as soon as I could say ‘mama’ so nothing new could really get to me! Hahaha!)
I have however grasped concepts I never knew even existed in the English language. It has been a challenge and at times really surprising that I got to understand why certain parts of the English language were used in particular ways.
What is most impressive are the explanations that are offered at the bottom of the page for every assignment one receives. They are precise and concise. My Tutor William was especially kind and very polite and I could have thought I was the only one receiving help from him.
I am now equipped as a better tutor and as result would really want to encourage anyone who feels like they would like to be a better tutor to try this course. Thank you TESOL! I am a better tutor now!!

Wonderful experience!
I gave up the corporate life as a legal counsel in Canada to pursue a dream abroad, and am now living in Europe. As a native speaker, I figured I'd have no problem teaching English, but decided to enroll in a TESOL course anyway to obtain a certificate and hopefully be able to earn a better salary (and land better jobs) in the long run. I did a lot of research to make sure I found the right ACTDEC accredited institution that would be a good fit for me. Global English caught my eye, and I happily signed up for the Level 5 advanced 250 hrs course. Right off the bat, I have to admit it was challenging - not difficult, but certainly not boring, which was perfect for me. What I mean by challenging is that the different modules cover so much more content than simple teaching methods or knowledge review, in turn prompting the student to think deep about certain aspects pertaining to linguistics, teaching and the world in which we live. As an academic, I was pleased to also learn about different facets of language and teaching, and about various psychosocial approaches. Furthermore, my tutor (Denise) was wonderful and always prompt when correcting and replying to emails. All the people at Global English with whom I spoke about one thing or another throughout the course duration were equally as lovely. I would strongly recommend this course to anyone, and will myself surely be signing up for more in the future. Thank you Global English, Denise, Louisa and William!

I have completed two courses so …
I have completed two courses so far: 250 hour Level 5 Advance course together with 30 hour teaching English for business. I have thoroughly enjoyed both courses. They are well structured and organised. The best part of the first course is that it provides you with a wide range of opportunities to plan lessons for different levels. Phonetics and lingustics elements of the course have contributed a great deal towards the success of the course.
As for the business course, it was of great significance to me as there are many students who are more interested in English for specific purposes: business, for example, than general English. I studied a variety of topics ( describing a company, meetings, negotiations, telephoning or formal and informal emails -some of the topics introduced) i n depth and the way to present the topic in the most effective and efficient way.
As for the feedback, I was always provided with the productive feedback from my tutor. She responded promptly to my questions and was always there for me.
I would definitely recommend this company.

I recently finished a 70-hour TESOL course with Global English. I have been incredibly impressed with the level of quality of the company. They answer every email personally and do so promptly and respectfully. In every case, the people I messaged with went out of their way to answer all questions, to help beyond the scope of the message and to do whatever they could to make the process smooth. I needed to get my certificate apostilled, which is a new one for me, and they were beyond helpful and understanding in helping me to make that happen. In terms of the course itself, it is very comprehensive. I also love the dashboard - it is very easy to use and gets updated real-time with progress. My assigned tutor answered all questions promptly and completed the marking extremely quickly. I would definitely work with Global English again. Thank you!

Hi Everyone!
Hi Everyone!! If you are reading this review you are probably searching for opinions/experiences for Global English TESOL, much like I did. I have been working in the field for quite a few years, even before I earned a certification. I have taken courses with GE (and am currently working on another now) and I can wholeheartedly recommend them. My first course with them was taken about 7 years ago (TESOL+TEYL) with a colleague and friend and I (we) felt that the course gave me a solid foundation to start from. The tutor at the time was incredibly helpful but constructively critical too. Therefore, I learned a lot. Fast forward a few years and I found myself wanting some professional development courses and another ESL qualification. I searched online (my only option because I do not live in an English speaking country) and checked GE as well as some other online TESOL providers. I made the choice to take a couple more courses with GE because my first experience with them so positive and challenging. I just finished the 40 hour Grammar Certificate and am in work on the Teaching Business English certification. The 40hr Grammar certificate was a terrific review of many aspects in English grammar and I had to work for the mark I earned! GE's student dashboard is excellent too. Everything is streamlined and looks professional and clean and is very easy to use. My interactions with my tutors and the directors have been constructive, positive, open, and respectful. So, if you are searching for a TESOL qualification I can recommend Global English without hesitation :)

Not convinced. So didn't enroll.
Researched this training organization comprehensively. All tutor profiles/bio's not available on website. When I asked, was provided links to a couple of example bio's/profiles available on website. Question re. number of tutors was dodged citing "data protection"/Competition regulations. I asked when they were audited last by their accreditation organisation. They were unable to answer convincingly, instead said "an inspection could happen at any time, so [they] wouldn't want to lose it [accreditation]". also, some other rather business consultant kind of talk: "we go above and beyond to provide an excellent experience." Their website says they are "are the only online TEFL course provider to share [their] income" with a charity. However, I've come across another organisation in Canada that do the same. Global-english seems to be running another TEFL training organisation called christiantefl, which also claims that it is the only TEFL training organisation that share their income with a charity.
Update: 02/05/18- I have a screenshot of your website. It definitely says 'We believe we are the only online TEFL course provider to share our income in this way.' Trustpilot is more than welcome to a copy of it.
