Excellent team.
Excellent team.
Good knowledge and attentiveness to our needs.
excellent service and support
Our experience has been different from some of these other reviews. We looked at a few options, and things have been simple and reliable so far.
The biggest difference has been the support. When we’ve needed help, the team has been quick to respond and actually follows through.
Overall, it’s been a solid experience for us.
Don't waste your time.
Don't waste your time with this company. Most of the reviews I researched are negative. Looking at their website, it looks like it's a scam company with fake people.
One year waiting for have the line…
One year waiting for have the line enabled and they don't care the ticket and still charging us. The other line I need a simple config change and they don't want to do it. Worst company ever
Unable to discontinue my account…
I have tried to discontinue my account with this company since Jan 2023. Reported them to telecommunication ombudsman.... still getting automatic debits every month!
There supply of international cover is good, trying NOT TO BE A CUSTOMER IS IMPOSSIBLE!!
This company has me dumbfounded
This company has me dumbfounded. I first got their globalgig in 2015 for overseas travel and it was brilliant, so kept it in my iPad even when back in Australia. Used it again with an updated Sim for further trips OS. But it failed to work in NZ. BUT ….. since them I’ve contacted them about 8 times by email and days later get a vague response saying they received my query and then follow up by saying I need to upgrade my sim. I then ask how much does this cost and what plans are offered ? I get no response. There website gives no information re data sim plan for OS travel.
So I ask again …. But get the same response, that tells me nothing.
What business isn’t interested in doing business ?????
Fraudsters with rubbish service
Fraudsters, rubbish customer service not worth the money. I’ve had no data for 5 months. I’m going to use either Smaty Trustpilot 4.1 or Giffgaff Trustpilot 4.1 both offer double the data for same monthly fee as Globalgigg. Globalgig were a brilliant until they were taken over by a US company.
The customer I represent has over 200…
The customer I represent has over 200 lines of service with Globalgig and their NOC is absolutely pitiful in my year of working with them direct for dozens, if not hundreds of tickets. I would NEVER advise another customer use them.
Constant SLA violations, constant hounding of updates from my NOC to their NOC, and the NOC group across the board is unaccountable, has very low skillset, and just do not care about the quality and timeliness of service. Avoid like the plague.

Zero accountability and even worse customer service would advise look elsewhere for more "service oriented" provider..........
If I had the ability to give and provide "0" stars I would to Globalgig and its team. They were 3 hrs late for an appointment time that they set mind you and let my team know they would be 3 hrs late only after already being an hour late. When got on the phone post the Globalgig team offered "0" apologies merely pushing the blame on FedEx for hardware arriving later than expected. Just a note and basic Business 101-customer/prospect is not concerned with the why rather that things did not go according to plan/schedule and an apology or some type of empathy goes a long way when attempting to get a prospect to agree to and pay for a comprehensive solution (to start locally with the potential for national and ultimately international connectivity solution). One of my employees was forced to sit on side of the road for 3 hrs ~100+ miles from our home office on a Friday afternoon and when their tech arrived on-site admitted to a member of my staff that he had no idea how to use survey equipment and experienced numerous issues attempting to call back office for support only to receive none. This entire ordeal took an additional 2+ hrs with tech saying they were unable to conduct site survey and get necessary readings then leaving while Globalgig later saying the equipment was reading and the tech did not know it was so we have all information necessary for the comprehensive report and ultimately for our invoice to be paid. The final straw was although my firm offered to pay for any associated due diligence required prior to advising on a solution/proposal-the Globalgig team saying the CFO needs and/or requires a POF (Proof of Funds) before issuance of said proposal/quote. Their response saying a furniture company would and does do the same prior to ordering. Actually from my experience and those of others whom I know they take a look at business credit/paydex and/or ask for a PG (personal guarantee) but do not ask for POF for the purchase of furniture from my experience. The dismissiveness was pervasive and the customer service was incredibly lacking-would advise one to run not walk away from them as dealing with them will only elevate your blood pressure in addition to shortening your lifespan. Have to wrap up here now as I am off to pay their invoice for their less than mediocre work, subpar performance, and lacking customer service.
P.S.-Would also encourage anyone taking a look at Globalgig reviews to note that ALL of their favorable reviews are labeled "Invited".

Great product
Great product! I would 10/10 recommended using while travelling. I used this super little device while travelling through South America.
I had trouble at first but the team were able to tell me what I was doing wrong. After that smooth sailing.

Good but room for improvement.
All very good.
Only thing was that I phoned the Customer Care line as per website but as I wanted to upgrade I was then provided with another number to call.
If I was managing this I would have it that the customer was put through to wherever required and not asked to phone again. If it is a time zone issue, provide a list of numbers on the website.
Once through to correct person, it went very smoothly.

Unprofessional and rubbish service
I have just come off the phone to the ruddest Customer Care Manager, I have ever dealt with namely Ivan.
I have been with Globalgig fir many years and should have left years ago. There service is never working when you need it and it’s taken 6 days for them to respond to 3 phone calls and 1 email and then Iwasnt even allowed to speak,he just kept talking over me.
Do not use this company ,there are others far more reliable and professional
Awful service
Awful! Awful! Awful!
Pay a fortune and every other day not able to connect! Take ages to answer any mails and never receive the compensation they promise. Can never contact direct. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
I was with globalgig since 2012 but…
I was with globalgig since 2012 but cancelled my contact this year. Very poor customer service. They never told me that the tariff I was on had been cancelled, so I have been paying more money for less gb for years. I lost my service earlier this year and was never compensated for that loss. They refuse to answer emails and then make you out as a the "bad customer" on the phone. I finally had enough and cancelled last month.
NEVER go with this company if you want to be treated fairly. If you want to be treated poorly and told that you are a liar then go right ahead.
Disgusted
I've used Globalgig for 5 years and have had no problems until their network change in July this year. In Sep they suspended service claiming my bill was unpaid even though, 3 days before they had apologised for the system's mistake. They've now gone one better - within 12 hours of arriving in Egypt I rec'd an e-mail stating that I owed them £2390.51 (I only use the hotel's WiFi when abroad - have never been charged before). By the end of the week, I owed them £4658.10! Instead of relaxed break I spent my time worrying that they would take that amount before it could be sorted. Eventually I was informed that a wrong rate had been charged - £99.00 per MB where it should have been 20p per MB (still don't understand how they could charge as I used the hotel's free WiFi.
