I used Globalsources.com to find a supplier. Having found a supplier for the goods I required (ASPIRING ELECTRONICS TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD) we agreed terms and pricing and I placed an order. Aspiring Technology sent an invoice which I paid with PayPal. Aspiring Electronics Technology sent tracking info but it couldn't be found on the tracking website. When I followed this up the company said they were waiting for the stock to arrive and they should have it in a few days. Subsequently I received an email stating that the order was cancelled, no explanation given. A refund was made back to my PayPal account but what I can only assume was a difference between Sterling to US Dollar exchange rates meant I received back £49.01 less than I paid. To date I've had no explanation from Aspiring Electronics Technology Co Ltd or Globalsources.com as to why the order was cancelled.
Scammers site
Through this website you will only come into contact with scammers. They immediately ask to be in touch via WhatsApp, always pay in advance via dubious accounts that do not belong to a company. So be careful, do not do business via this site.
Scammers all the way
Didn't place the order yet and they are asking for a full payment without any invoice... scammers all the way.
DON'T BUY FROM THEM
That'sGlobal Sources a concerning statistic
That's a concerning statistic! It's important to exercise caution when dealing with suppliers, especially in an online setting. Fraudsters can be skilled at appearing legitimate, so it's crucial to verify credentials and research thoroughly before making any agreements or payments.
Here are some tips to help avoid potential fraudsters:
1. Research the supplier's website, social media, and reviews.
2. Check for a physical address, contact information, and a clear business registration.
3. Be wary of unusually low prices or promises of unrealistic returns.
4. Look for certifications like ISO, CE, or industry-specific certifications.
5. Verify their business license and registration on government websites.
6. Be cautious of suppliers pushing for urgent decisions or payments.
7. Use secure payment methods like credit cards or PayPal, which offer some protection against fraud.
8. Consider using third-party verification services or trade platforms with built-in safeguards.
Remember, it's always better to err on the side of caution and prioritize safety over potential gains. If a deal seems too good to be true, it probably is.
On the platform global source
On the platform, all the sellers are purportedly related to Europe. However, the online sellers are 100% scammers. I have recently encountered different scams, with scammers claiming to be from Belgium, France, the USA, and Turkey. Be aware and never use this platform for buying any products. These digital scammers are very professional, with polished websites and dummy contact numbers, making it hard to believe they are scamming you.
Recently, in response to my inquiry, a seller approached me and offered his products very professionally. He agreed to sell me 200 units of different products. However, once the payment was made, he made an excuse that the warehouse manager could not deliver the product because my order quantity was below the MOQ. When I requested a refund, they gave me a timeline of 14 to 60 days. In reality, they have already scammed me and will never return the money. This is just their method of scamming.

This website breeds corruption and…
This website breeds corruption and spam. Many companies listed there are either not functioning anymore or do not sell the so-called products listed. Any RFQ submitted ends up with Scammers and you get all these fake companies demanding for deposits prior to any business visits, most uses their personal accounts. And you are lucky enough to get through on a number provided, over 80% of the listed numbers do not work or are wrong contacts to innocent people, the owner of the number will tell you “oh it must be from a fake website, I do not sell anything like that, sorry”. And yes they are right. When I spoke to someone from GlobalSources.com, they told me to do my own diligence because they cannot guarantee that a verified company is legit. How exactly they are verified remains questionable, I will refrain from using these so called platforms to submit RFQ for anything, you will be rubbed or spammed.

Every single supplier on this website is a scam, please be aware as I believe that the website owner is part of this scam too.

Most if not all so called supplier are…
Most if not all so called supplier are actually scammers (usually Africans). I was scammed yesterday by a supplier that was listed as advance verified and had the most variety of products. And once you are looted don't expect any compensation by Global source. Its a hub and a platform given to thieves so please don't fall for it like I did. Very disappointed with Global source for giving their space to thieves, there is no much verification on their side
Please stay away from Supplier MyCanna Inc (Nathaniel Clemens), they are theives.
