Glow Green Storage Battery Install.
I had a PV system installed in 2015 and have been enjoying the benefits, including Feed in Tariff. This year I decided to have a storage battery installed to augment the system. Following conversations with Rory, I decided to proceed with the installation in February which seemed to go smoothly enough from what I understand.
One of the technicians helped me with downloading & setting up the associated App but it wasn’t until afterwards that I realised that I don’t understand what the app is telling me. During the post-install tel call I mentioned that I wanted help; an email was sent to me providing “Guidance on Running Your Battery Storage System” but this did not answer the need that I had expressed. It also stated that I “currently have a storage battery system without solar generation” - but I do have solar generation.
It wasn’t until a few weeks later that I remembered to inform FiT about the new installation, I wish the need to do so had been emphasised to me earlier in the whole process.
In due course FiT requested certain information so I rang Glow Green on 10th March to ask for same. On 25th March, I still had not received the latter info so rang GG and was told that the person whom I need to speak with had left for the day so to await a call.
The post-install call from Tracey on 11/02 was very friendly but today I was left wondering if the call handler had lost patience with me and I felt rushed. It takes me longer to think things through nowadays and need more time to respond appropriately to questions.

The Technician that carried out the…work Excellent
The Technician that carried out the work to my new boiler was very proficient.
He called my Mobile before he arrived to state he would be arriving by 8am ( He arrived at exactly 8am )
He carried out the work and completed by mid afternoon.
Plus explaining to my Wife and i the controls for the Boiler.
Finally he removed all materials from my property.
Leaving no outstanding waste.
Both my Wife and i were very happy with the Technician.

Five star service
The staff (Connah) at the sales team are very knowledgeable of their products and helped me choose the right panels and battery for the installation. They were also competitive when it came to price comparisons with other companies.
The installation team (Mike) and were very efficient and tidy during their work. There was minimal disruption to our routine during the installation.
They were also helpful in setting up the Hive hub and app in the house so I could see how much energy I was producing.
I would absolutely recommend Glow Green to others thinking of having solar panels installed.

He telephoned the day before to confirm his arrival time. He duly arrived bang on time, carried out a full service, cleaned both filters and left the area clean and tidy. Highly recommend this company.
