A highlight of my visit to Copenhagen – and brilliant customer service too
I visited Copenhagen at the start of the year with family. All of us enjoyed the Glyptotek. The exhibits are fascinating and varied, in a setting that does it all justice. I have great memories of our visit and the museum was one of the highlights of our holiday for me.
While I was there I bought one of the vintage pens in the gift shop. It was a lovely souvenir of our time in Denmark.
I was absolutely gutted when I lost the pen in the summer. I got in touch with the museum to see whether I could buy one. My first attempt failed when the courier service lost the package. But on the second attempt my pens arrived in the UK thoughtfully packaged and in perfect condition
Throughout the difficulties with ordering and delivery, the gift shop team were wonderfully helpful. Thank you to Rikke and Yvette (and anyone else who might have been helping).
Should you visit the Glyptotek? Absolutely! And if you want to pick up a souvenir or two you’ll be in good hands for that too.

A piece of Paradise
It is, quite frankly, one of the best cultural venues in existence. The art, the indoor garden, the palms and the architecture soothes the soul and stimulates the intellect. It is a place for slowing down and appreciate time itself.
