Emergency situation solved

I’m located in the arctic where there is no optic services. I was basically in an emergency situation to find a specific frame to fit my existing lenses into. I found what I was looking for at Go-Optic! Thanks!

Long turn around times, deceptive language, slow customer service response.

ENOUGH! This retailer needs to be reported to an official government office, anyone know where to report a business that does deceptive practices? There are over ten pages of the same complaints, enough already. They have a very limited amount of styles on hand. Most of their stock has to be obtained from the manufacturer. It is not explained at the time of purchase that it takes two weeks or more for the frames to arrive at their location, so they can manufacture them and send them to you, which can take up to another week and a half if you go with their FREE shipping option, which is snail mail. You could be waiting a month plus for your order. What's worse, they are not straightforward about any of it and they dance around with their answers when you ask for clarification and they never... pick up their phones, you're forced to chat with a Bot and the live agents just say "read the policy", but when you open the link they send, it's all very confusing how they explain their shipping and turn around times, it's just not clearly stated - you're so excited you're getting a good deal, the site looks legit, but the red flags show up quickly. After a ton of back and forth and them being evasive about a processing timeline, I just cancelled my order after two weeks of waiting because they've yet not received the frame from the maker - they're saying Friday, maybe. 1-5 days my butt - any info on how to report these practices let me know? They must give timelines in language that is clear. They're probably cash poor and depend on us prepaying so they can stock their invetory. They kept a percentage - which is wrong, they were dishonest - they need to be investigated.

Santana glasses

Happy to have found the exact Carlos Santana glasses that I bought from Eyeglass World 4yrs ago. Not easy to find.

Worst online sales experience

Worst online sales experience. Customer Service gave me faulty information and direction when I was placing my order. As a consequence the glasses that arrived were not what I had ordered. Despite their error they would not give a refund for the lenses, and charged me a 15% restocking fee for the frames. Through multiple emails in which I documented how both their website and customer service had given me wrong/in adequate information, they updated instructions on the website and updated instructions to customer service employees. Clearly an admission they were at fault. But still gave me only a partial refund.

Don't believe their website

Don't believe their website. They don't have the inventory or stock the products they display. You order products they say are in stock, they collect your personal information(credit card + prescription), accept your order, and then cancel the order because they don't have the product in stock. It's a big waste of your time and feels like a scam.

Why didn’t they remove the item from the website as soon as they knew it was discontinued and/or out of stock??

They let me go ahead and order it, and THEN they tell me it’s discontinued!
