Ongoing System Faults

Ongoing System Faults, Business Impact, and No Response – GoDaddy

I am now raising this publicly as I have received no meaningful response through GoDaddy’s own support or complaint channels.

Over an extended period, I have experienced ongoing issues affecting my website, including SEO performance, platform reliability, and overall service delivery. Prior to engaging GoDaddy’s services, my website was generating sales. Since these issues began, sales have significantly declined, causing direct financial impact to my business.

A clear example of system faults can be seen within the GoDaddy dashboard analytics. The reporting period is set to “Last 30 days”, and although the dropdown menu displays the option for “Last 12 months”, selecting it does not apply or function correctly. The system fails to respond or reverts, preventing access to longer-term performance data.

This is not an isolated issue — it reflects a wider pattern of unreliable systems which directly affect business visibility and performance.

More concerning is the lack of response. I have made repeated attempts to contact GoDaddy through standard support channels and formal complaint routes, yet I have received no meaningful communication or resolution.

At this stage, Trustpilot appears to be the only channel through which I can obtain any form of response, which is unacceptable for a company of this size and reputation.

This matter has now reached a point where I am considering formal external escalation, including regulatory and legal routes, if it remains unresolved.

I would expect GoDaddy to respond properly and address both the ongoing technical failures and the financial impact caused.

The information I needed to address my issues was clear and concise. I recommend GoDaddy for all their products and especially their support.

Go Daddy is a scam

Go Daddy is a scam! I have had a commerce site with them for a month and they have not been able to resolve a simple domain issue. Furthermore because the domain is pointed to a godaddy.com site instead of my domain, I cannot process customer payments! I email and text them at least 10 times a day an might get 1 response per day telling me to be patient. My patience has run out. Their Airo AI is a total fraud. It repeatedly saves over work I've already completed with data that has nothing to do with my site. They took down their 24/7 Support Chat. That right there is enough to scream SCAM! No one from their "professional support" (India) teams cares in any way shape or form that your site or any one else's is having problems! 3 WEEKS OF TRYING TO GET ANSWERS AND GETTING NO UPDATES, RESPONSES OR FIXES!

DO NOT USE GO DADDY! THEY ARE ONLY THERE TO TAKE YOU MONEY!

GoDaddy came in clutch.

GoDaddy came in clutch.

It's a funny story, really. GoDaddy was there for me when I needed to purchase a domain name to submit my show for advertising on the radio. They wouldn't accept my request for advertising without that domain name. I bought the domain then and there. With it, as an add-on, was a 300-email communications platform, perfect for the size of our show.

Terrible customer service

My website disconnected and starting bringing me to a non-existent landing page, and what came up in the meantime is basically a page where GoDaddy is trying to broker selling your domain to someone else. I contacted support to try and get the issue resolved and spoke with a Prashant M. He offered no assistance, told me that all of my settings were deleted along with the activity logs, asked if I had parked the domain, couldn't explain why it happened and was unable to help me reset the settings to get my site back up. He just kept trying to upsell me on additional services and seemed to have zero knowledge of the product. I wanted to speak with IT not sales.

The service representative was very…

The service representative was very polite and helpful. Waiting on hold for 19 minutes while listening to some boring music was not pleasant. It does give you the option to turn off the music if you can respond in .5 seconds but I was too slow.

The problem was the email forwarding…

The problem was the email forwarding feature was not funtioning properly. In reporting the problem I talked to GoDaddy Tech Centers in the Philippines and Peru. In both calls the agents were attentive (they listened) they understood the problem I was describing (they were competent) They were respectfull of my time keeping me informed as they worked the problem.

Thank you Jessica! I called in to GoDaddy for a couple of reasons, most concerning was all the work I had done creating our website was gone when I logged in this morning! Jessica was able to fix that, explain what happened and why, then she helped with an issue we've had migrating our hosting.
