I am in the process of submitting…
I am in the process of submitting formal complaints to the SEC and NYDFS regarding the founder and salespeople behind Godel. After what I witnessed, I believe regulators would be very interested in their behavior.
A close friend of mine lost **over $14,000** after following the founder’s unsolicited “advice,” which was presented with the confidence of a licensed professional — except there is **no license**, no accountability, and no responsibility for the financial damage caused to real people. Some people I heard got burn to complete ashes instead.
What’s most disturbing is the attitude. The founder acts like he cares about “helping people,” but everything about the operation feels designed for **views, hype, and sales**, not investor safety. Godel has a Discord, where you can pop and talk with Shkrelli himself sometimes, but there he only made this clearer — dismissive comments, arrogance, and an absolutely shocking lack of care and professionalism. It’s hard to overstate how careless the whole culture seems when real money is on the line.
The sales tactics were some of the most aggressive and manipulative I’ve seen in the retail-investing space. It honestly left me wondering how far they’re willing to go just to push subscriptions. Instead of transparency and value, it feels like a nonstop pressure campaign.
If the founder truly wants to be taken seriously, he should start by removing the countless YouTube videos where he gives what looks very much like investment advice while unlicensed. Illegal. Those videos have influenced people into losing real money, unless they happened to be lucky enough to cherry-pick the few ideas that weren’t disasters.
My opinion: This entire setup is reckless, irresponsible, and potentially dangerous for anyone who doesn’t know better. Proceed at your own risk.
I would personally make all effort possible to avoid sending payments Godel. And I should donate a piece of that money taken from them, for reparations, for all his victims.
