Huntingdon Performance Tyres. One to avoid!
Operating under the name of 'Huntingdon Performance Tyres LTD'
Quoted £144 for two tyres FULLY FITTED. Explained that I would not need fitting, as I am having tyres removed/fitted by a wheel refurbishment company in a neighboring unit. I was told that the tyre fitting service was free so the price remained the same. However, after some consideration, I got both tyres for £140 which was a £4 discount.
When returning the worn tyres for disposal a few days later, I was charged £5. Explaining that I had not used their fitting service (included in the initial quote) which would cost them two valves, balance weights and approximately 20 minutes labour, the disposal should be included. They refused.
To conclude, I had £4 discount and paid £5 for tyre disposal which would normally be included in the fitted cost. Madness! That's one return customer lost.
