Even Obscure Games Get Tech Support

The game in question was Mech Engineer. I'm almost sure 90%+ of you never heard of it.

To be honest, at the start, it seemed like they would keep delaying my support ticket. I created the ticket on 29th Nov 2025, received an ack. reply from Julia on 3rd Dec 2025, kept asking for updates until Falran picked up the ticket on 12th Dec.

Falran pointed out that my test machine had an incompatible OS (to my embarassment, considering I am in the IT field - AngularJS developer) and offered a possible refund if I don't have any compatible machines. Once I realised that, I started to test the game on my gaming machine on the 14th Dec and the game runs as expected.

Thanks again for identifying the root cause!

Very nice support

I had issues with a game which took quite a while to be solved but Falran helped me all the way there. I am impressed by his patience and devotion. I expected him to give up in more than one places, as I usually know it from other customer support. Instead I felt like I was in good hands. Now my issues are solved and I am very grateful. Also I am glad to know that if I ever run into any problems playing on GOG, there is friendly support with people genuinely interested in helping.

A absolutely superb experience!

I’ve been a member of GOG since its inception and have always found it to be just about perfect in all aspects of gaming, both in terms as a game vendor, but even more so as a unique repository and curator of great old PC games that will actually play on PCs as much as 40+ years after their design and release.

But it’s a slightly different experience that brings me here today. A couple days ago, I sent a query on GOG for support over a relatively minor but annoying issue I was having with my account using the standard online support form. And, of course, we all know how those things go and how they run the entire gambit from no response ever, to fairly useless information, all the way to very useful instruction and a solution to the problem that we were hoping for. The issue I needed help with isn’t important, but the response I received certainly is.

Just a few hours of submitting my question, a senior tech by the name of Falran got back to me. His advice and his instruction were perfect and were most applicable and his understanding of my problem was excellent. But, even more impressive to me was Falran’s kindness and friendly manner. His willingness, enthusiasm and the time he took to help me fix my problem left with such a positive and pleasant feeling that I felt the need to come here to TrustPilot and share my experience with others. Indeed, in a time when interactions with others on the web can produce an enormous range of results—not all of them pleasant to say the least—it’s just so refreshing to be able to experience such a positive, friendly and useful response.

So kudos to GOG in general for being such a standout company, and to Falran in particular, for being there to assist customers solve their problems or issues. I just can’t say enough about how impressed I am and about how much more it makes me realize that GOG is a company that really stands behind its customers and cares about them. So thank you, GOG and Falran, for being such a pleasure to work with and for being there for your customers!

Great Customer Service

Leaving a quick review of the customer service I received today.

You can always count on employees such as Falran to help solve syncing issues within your library of GOG games.
Falran has shown themselves to be willing to take time to dig through the database to verify user claims and assist customers with their queries.

I was offered a replacement code for a missing game and I now have access to it once more. Assistance was prompt and my issue was solved well within 24 hours of submitting a ticket.

Thanks again for your great customer service, Falran!

GOG had a technical Glitch and Falran did his best to help

GOG.com released the Infernals for Stellaris and at had removed season 9 DLC pack for Stellaris. This caused an issue where the season 9 DLC for Stellaris no longer showed up on Galaxy.

I reached out to GOG and Falran responded and engaged in a very thorough assistance. We were unfortunately unable to resolve the issue until the next patch for Stellaris was released.

Fortunately GOG had a second method to get the DLC until the fix came through with the DLC available on my account after an account refresh. I was able to install via the website account download so I was still able to play until the next patch fixed the issue.

Thanks for all the effort from Falran. This is why I have spent so much time and effort promoting GOG including a topic on the Spacebattles Forum.

Excellent Support

The support from the team is excellent.
I just started at the plattform to play with one of my old nostalgic games and had some problems getting it running.

Here comes my personal hero: **Falran**

He send me a very easy step by step guide. And at the end, my game was running. It didn't took long, but it's very helpful if there is someone to support you with detailed knowledge.

Over all it took 3 days to get it running. Quick and excellent support.

A happy customer

I enjoyed the old Might and Magic VI decades ago when it first came out, and I thought it would be fun to try re-playing it and other games of that era. I was directed to GOG by younger family members, and succeeded in getting MM6 to run on my desktop and laptop. After completing it a couple of times, I decided to move on to MM8.

It took some work to get MM8 to run on my Windows 11 desktop. GOG's IT service (in particular, Falran) was friendly and helpful, and with the suggestions given, I was up and running. I managed to get all the way to nearly the last dungeon (Escaton's castle) when MM8 decided to reach a point where it couldn't keep going. This was a bit frustrating. I looked online to see what people suggested, and tried a few of the suggestions -- none of which worked. I contacted GOG for help, and Falran responded suggesting the GreyFace update. I tried it, and it worked beautifully.

I am a fan of GOG and of Falran, and I very much appreciate the technical support!

GOG helps beyond just selling games

I purchased an older game from GOG, that had trouble running on my computer. I tried my best to search for a solution, wasted almost an entire day with ChatGPT. Thankfully, GOG's support (specifically Falran, the guy who helped me) was quick to reply, gave me great advice on what to do and now the game runs smoothly.
