They are leather, very comfortable and made in Britain

I bought 2 pairs of Gola Harrier men's sports shoes online from 2 different suppliers over a 12 month period.

In both cases the rubber covering on the sole at the heel end of the shoe started to wear out after 6 months revealing the hollow gaps beneath.

I think this is a design fault and needs to be addressed. In my opinion the sole needs to be solid without these hollows spaces near the heel.

The first time it happened I thought it was just bad luck. However when the same thing reoccurred i was really annoyed with Gola and myself for being so naive.

I only used the shoes lightly, no sport or heavy usage.

Lovely looking shoe, but I do expect to get more than 6 months wear for the price I paid!

I bought the shoes in March 2025. After a month, the stitching had already failed... unheard of.
I contacted customer service three times via the website, with no response.
I'm still waiting to hear back from them.

I ordered several pairs of shoes during their winter sale and received an order confirmation. Five days later I received an email from them saying my order was refunded, with no additional details. Fortunately, PayPal sent a separate email detailing the amount that was refunded, which was only part of the order. After contacting Gola customer service to inquire why and what part of my order was refunded, they responded with “we sent a separate email about your refund”, and that was all they had to say about it. After letting them know that I didn’t receive an additional email from them and would like to know what has changed, I received no further response. It wasn’t until I received my package weeks later I finally learned what I actually purchased. I don’t have a problem with occasional inventory errors, it is their customer service that made the experience worse. The shoes I did receive were cute, but not the quality I expected. I doubt I will ever order shoes from them directly, and definitely not at retail prices.

Never received my order. Got an email that they were dispatched (and therefore I was charged for the shoes). Got a Fedex tracking number, but Fedex said they were yet to receive the shoes. Reached out to Gola and all they said was, "we sent a message to our warehouse." And Gola doesn't even have a customer service phone number which is super sus.

Nice shoes but very what appears deceitful branding. As an ex-pat I was looking forward to receiving what looked like British made Harriers, from everything they publish online amidst their patriotic facade, but under the tongue you can see they are in fact made in Indonesia. I feel quite duped!

I had a pair of Gola trainers that developed a hole on the bottom of the sole after just 6 and a half months. The hole measured about 2 cm X 2 cm. Trainers usually last me about 3 years. I took them back to the shop and the assistant judged that there had been fair wear and tear. In Gola's email to me today, they agreed with the assistant (not having seen the problem themselves). Judge for yourself.

PS They get just one star because of the quality of the product and because I am powerless to do anything about it.

I returned a pair of sneakers upon receiving them bc they were too small. After a week I didn’t hear anything so I checked ups tracking and it was delivered. I contacted Gola on their website and they will not respond or refund my money. I sent all the product order info 6 times but they do not respond . They are a scam. DO NOT ORDER GOLA shoes ever. Buy them from another store that carries them. You will never get your money back.

I ordered Daytona Chute trainers. Very uncomfortable for longer walks, hurt my feet, also overheat. Got slightly wet and the green suede dye ran into the light colour, staining and ruining them. I got them for a bit less than the usual price on Laredoute and there's no way I'd buy them again and especially not at full price.

Item ordered and a message 3 days later to say it was out of stock. Could have purchased elsewhere. Not happy.

I currently own 4 pairs of Gola Harriers (and many more before that). 3 of the current pairs are good quality and were from new, instantly flexible and comfortable but, the 4th pair, recently bought, are made from different quality materials and despite now having worn them many times and, even having used leather softener on them to try and improve matters, they still feel like hard and have cut the rear of my heels and caused blisters all of which, I have never had with any shoes.
I cant wear them anymore so will sadly not be buying any more Golas, and can only assume they have changed the materials and manufacturing standards previously used.

I returned 3 pairs of shoes a month ago. Still no refund and no response to any of my 6 emails to customer service - they don't even have a phone number you can call!!

Shocking!!!! Ordered a pair of shoes, too small created a returns label from THEM! now they say I returned them to the wrong company!!!!! No refund and I'm fuming. NEVER EVER BUY FROM THEM ONLINE!. My money is lost and it was hard earned as a nurse! Disgusted!

Love the shoes, but I have emailed Gola CS twice in the past two years over product question/issues re online orders. Never received a response back -the worst customer service. Shocking actually

Your online sales people are the very worst in any business. Half of my order is still missing since June 6th. The crappy people there are not giving me the tracking information that I have requested multiple times. The customer service people do not answer the phone ever. I shall be contacting the higher ups in UK. I may never order this brand of shoes again.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I ordered 2 pair of shoes. Neither fit, so I returned them using the label they provide for returns. This was on March 16, 2023. It is now June 8 and I have received NO refund. Each time I reach out, I have to email 3-4 times to receive any sort of response and the only response I ever get is "we will have our warehouse look into this" or "do you have a tracking #. Of course I don't have a tracking #, I used THEIR label. I will continue to write, but it has been almost 3 months and I have no hope of getting my $155 returned to me. AVOID ORDERING FROM GOLA!!!!

DO NOT BUY! I have an experience similar to another buyer. I ordered shoes, they were not EVEN CLOSE to the style I ordered, so I returned them. Even with a confirmation that they received the return I have yet to get a refund. The only option for customer service is email, and you would be lucky if you ever heard back from them. I can't believe a company like this still exists in 2023. Customer service is everything, and not only did they not reply to emails, but they decided to keep my money as well.

avoid. i ordered a pair of shoes, way too big. asked for an exchange which they don’t offer. so i ordered a different size and shipped the return as directed.

it has been a month - their website claims up for 14 days to process returns. i have confirmation from UPS the package was signed for a received however i’ve not heard anything from Gola. i’ve emailed several times, each interaction more useless than the last and take about 24-48 hours for each one. nobody can give me any information that they’ve even received the package, let alone process it and refund it. there’s no phone number, only emails. i think i will accept that i’m not being refunded and warn everyone else to not do business with them.

i will update if i do receive a refund from them.

I love love the design of my rainbow high top sneakers!!!
But and this is a biggy if buying from Gola go a size up as they aren’t true to size. I’m a 4 (37) and toes rub on the front. I bought a 38 which fits just nice. Here comes another but! I’ve worn the sneakers for a month and the sides of the sneaker were the rubber is, is coming away! I’m not impressed as the sneakers are so lovely but I won’t be buying Gola again!
