Ive been downloading for years, but recently decided to shell out on a years subscription for a VPN with Vyprvpn.

Worst mistake I have made in a long time. I received my first ever DMCA notice within 48 hours!

These people produce the polar opposite of what you have asked for. Very Strange how they have stayed in business. Luckily they have a lot of competition who are very good indeed - PIA to name but one.

Do your self a fav, go elsewhere, so much for privacy, got a DMCA notice from them. They sell themselves as "Bypass Restrictive Networks and Censorship" and "Restore your access to a free and open Internet".

But they are the first VPN which has ever forwarded a DMCA notice to me.

So they locked my account until I would re-affirm by digital signature your agreement to adhere to the Terms of Service and the Acceptable Use Policy
Communication then goes on to say "Once we get the notice, we match it up with your account internally, and forward the notice to you"

So they do keep records??? Not what there website says... Closing my account and asking for a refund as they have blocked me.

They wan't your business but don't want it??? Tried them out but they closed my account - strangest vpn service ever

I signed up then tried setting it up kept getting wrong sign in details message,
contacted support,
the guy said after reviewing your account we cant provide you a service then he closed the chat.....
absolute joke.

THE GOOD:
-Was able to watch Netflix in US, Australia, and New Zealand. The other countries (including the UK) I tried were blocked by Netflix and detected as a VPN

THE BAD:
(Phew, where to start?)

-THEY ARE TRACKING YOU: VyprVPN tracks what you are doing while you're connected to their service despite the claim on their privacy statement: "What Golden Frog Does Not Collect From VyprVPN Sessions: Does not log a user's traffic or the content of any communications." This is obviously false because:

-COPYRIGHT NOTICES: If they detect you are torrenting, you will be sent a DMCA copyright infringement notice by email and your service will be blocked until you sign an affirmation that you will not do it again. Refusal to sign means your service will forever be blocked.

-RUDE CUSTOMER SUPPORT: After I was sent an email that I had downloaded copyrighted material and that my service was blocked, I contacted support via live chat telling them I wanted to cancel my service. I asked for a PARTIAL refund since there was still 20 days left of the month that I would not be using. I did not ask for a full refund of the month, just the unused portion of the 20 days left! Not an unreasonable request, I think. The support person told me they had a strict no-refund policy. After arguing back and forth about why I didn't want to sign their affirmation and that they were the ones blocking my use of their product, the customer service agent told me he was going to end the chat! How rude! I find their attitude was quite inflexible and not customer-friendly.

-INFLEXIBLE REFUND POLICY: My request for even a partial refund was denied even though they blocked my service. I find their policy quite inflexible.

THE BOTTOM LINE:
-If you care about privacy and torrenting, this is not a VPN for you

Not anonymous, blocking p2p

Vypr claim to support P2P and not to keep user logs. Then they suspended my account and sent me a DCMA notice from a copyright holder illustrating that they clearly do maintain a log and that they do not support P2P. I wrote them an email saying I felt I had been ripped off which they didn't even care to respond to. I am much happier with PIA and it is 2.5 times cheaper.

this VPN provider VyprVPN is extremely poor in customer service.
Trying to sign up for a Premium Account via Paypal! Paypal has released payment, but VyprVPN claims no payment has been received, which is a lie! Secondly, when you go into a customer's account, it is blocked because it is claimed that you have committed a scam and this is now being investigated. This is the absolute madness of how they treat the customer.

Several times Anthony and Bobby tried to solve the problems with the customer service, but Anthony and Bobby didn't want to do that and answered only with standard answers, which consisted of two sentences: no money, but according to Paypal this is not true!

So get your hands off this company!

Terrible. Live in the US and was unable provide services due to a 'Fraud Check'. Customer service chat wouldn't even look at my question and disconnected after saying that I was marked for fraud. No point in trying to sign up.

Really glad to have purchase Vyprvpn! works best on windows, won't recommend it for android users as i have faced disconnections in like 3 out of 5 times. But never ever disappointed on Windows version...
I would recommend it to all windows users, simply the best.

I don't really know what to say, it's probably the strangest VPN you could ever use. They're logging IP address and bandwidth use.

Biggest advantage of this VPN is very good encryption (RSA-2048).

I think this VPN should be used only to unlock streams (works perfectly with Netflix) and gaming. I tested a lot of VPN's and i think it should be best gaming experience.

Never use them. They charge you without a receipt and refuse to delete my information after cancelled my account. Bill recurring for two months after I cancelled my account. Q&A page is different from the panel. Online chatting service is a waste of time.

These guys are not anonymous at all. After a hour of usage they locked my account and started to ask following questions: where am I from? What is my credit card last 4 digits? At what time did I register with them? And if you don't agree to answer, they simply block you access to VPN, they don't care what you think about that. For sure, this VPN exists just to spy for you, it is not anonymous and it asks even more details about you than they see already from theirs logs.

I don't want to dive into what was a problem with VyprVPN at all. Simply because VyprVPN uses bots not people as a customer service. That means that I've exchanged 10-15 emails over the time with them and got ALWAYS the same answers. Their emails NEVER ADDRESSED ANY MY QUESTIONS.

I thought that they have a pick on me because over the time I got angry and told them that they are a very bad customer service. Then tried different emails, even asked 2 friends to find out certain things - we all got same replies.

I tried a few other VPN providers and VyprVPN doesn't stand out. I use now ExpressVPN which works good and reliable.

At the end, maybe it's a one man show... Who knows. Stay away from these bots.

Very unsatisfied with their attitude to customer. I was charged higher amount for their service so I asked for refund or to get difference back. They refunded me back with no questions, although I have still not received money. I tried to order it once again using the offer they made themselves 60 USD for first year but my order was flagged for inspection because they suspected that my payment method was fraud. So I have gave them all details to check my payment and then I was given an answer that they will not offer me their service anymore. I tried it again using different method with same result. When asked again why they are refusing to give me access to the service they just unprofessionally told me again that they will not offer me their service anymore and my account was locked. Also when speaking with their customer service using Live Chat, staff just rudely closed conversation when asked for a reason. I guess they flag IPs of customers they do not want to serve. Such a unprofessional behavior like this was my worst experience I have ever had.

Golden Frog is a very rude company.
I downloaded the software and "for security" was asked to mail back the name of the town I live in, which is in Denmark, not exactly the worst fraud country in the world.
Then I got the message, that they were “unable to offer me service at this time”
Then I asked “ what’s the problem” and was told “ we already closed your account”
I never got to use Golden Frog for one second, and never got any explanation why.
Golden Frogs customer service is outdated with around 50 years. Stay away.

Very rude and not respecting users privacy.

I bought a VPN line and asked questions about he security and privacy, and ended up with a suspended account, without any explanation. This is really unserious.

Very Poor Network - read the legal documents and the real honest feedback for the Company. They log all your traffic and acts as police / spy´s and will even forward your data and usage to any third part of their choice. This company is a very bad bad joke, and are perhaps the worst Company regarding privacy and security, I have ever heard of. I work as a CIO.
