I had previously used GoMechanic in Delhi and had a good experience, which is why I trusted them again after moving to Bangalore. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst service experiences I have ever had.
I booked a Comprehensive Service and my car was picked up at 9:30 AM. I was promised updates from the workshop but received none. After several hours of silence, I had to find the workshop number myself and call them repeatedly. To my surprise, I was informed that a Standard Service was being carried out instead of the Comprehensive Service I had booked.
The vehicle was returned late, the cleaning was incomplete, the dashboard still had dust and litter, and most importantly, my AC stopped working immediately after the service. The delivery executive verified the issue himself and informed the workshop.
I was repeatedly promised callbacks and support to resolve the AC issue, but nobody followed through. Calls and messages went unanswered for days.
The most concerning part was the way I was treated regarding payment. Despite informing the representative that I was in work meetings, I received repeated calls and messages in a very short span of time. The communication felt unnecessarily aggressive and caused significant stress.
The issue is not just poor servicing. It is the lack of accountability, broken commitments, poor communication, and the complete absence of customer care once the payment is taken.
I hope GoMechanic leadership reviews how customers are being treated because this experience has completely damaged my trust in the brand.

This is extremely frustrating and disappointing regarding Order ID: 202605246898200.
Mr. Aditya Jha routed me to the workshop manager, who is now asking me to pay additional money for the issues that were created after your service. Why should I pay for damages that were not present before handing over my vehicle?
I booked the service through GoMechanic, not directly with any workshop. Therefore, GoMechanic is fully responsible for resolving this matter instead of shifting ownership between teams.
No one is taking accountability, and I am continuously being harassed despite multiple follow-ups. The AC was working properly earlier, and now it is completely non-functional. The bonnet is also not opening after service.
If this issue is not resolved immediately without any extra charges, I will be forced to file a legal complaint against GoMechanic for negligence, poor service, and customer harassment.

I gave my car for washing and rubbing polish service, but unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. They only applied polish everywhere without properly doing the rubbing and polishing work. After keeping my car for almost 8 hours, they returned it without completing the service properly.
My car buddy, Priyanshu, was extremely careless and lazy towards the work. When I checked the car and called him about the poor service, his response was simply, “It’s okay sir, chalta hai.” I paid ₹1809 for this service and feel completely cheated.
At the beginning, they promised that I would receive videos of all the work being done, but when I asked for them later, the car buddy rudely replied, “Dubara mat bolna, humare paas yahi kaam hai.”
I am not happy with the service at all. I would honestly suggest people go to a trusted local vendor where the work is done properly in front of you. These services only fool customers and charge money without delivering quality work.

AVOID - Highly disappointing and terrible experience - SCAM
I had booked my nearly new Honda City on 15th May for a “Silencer Coating” service, primarily because the pricing at the Honda Service Centre was comparatively high and GoMechanic was offering a summer promotional discount. I had cancelled all my other appointments for the day and was genuinely looking forward to trying GoMechanic for the first time.
However, the assigned service buddy, Sasanka Paul, failed to even provide the workshop location/address despite repeated follow-ups from my side. I attempted to contact him numerous times, but there was neither any response nor even the courtesy of a callback. As a result, my entire day was wasted. This was extremely unprofessional and disappointing conduct.
I decided to give GoMechanic a second chance and availed the service today. Unfortunately, the actual experience only reinforced my concerns. My observations are as follows:
1. The workshop appeared to be a highly rudimentary setup, with vehicles scattered around a poorly maintained and rundown area beside a dirty waterbody.
2. There was no proper workshop infrastructure.
3. Road access to the location was extremely poor.
4. The service ramp itself was located in an unsafe shed area surrounded by broken concrete and damaged flooring.
5. Although I had booked only for “Silencer Coating”, I later received a status update claiming: “The 50+ point inspection for your Honda City iVTEC Petrol has been completed.” No such inspection was ever carried out. This update was completely false and misleading.
Even more concerning were the fabricated issues entered into the system against my vehicle, which is nearly new and had undergone authorised Honda servicing just one week earlier. The following remarks were recorded:
1. “Our Experts noticed serious issue in Brake System.”
2. “We have noticed unusual noise from Rear Suspension.”
3. “Erratic and/or high Engine Vibrations identified.”
4. “Our Experts detected some noisy Transmission Components.”
All of the above observations are factually incorrect and appear to be blatant lies!!
To make matters worse, the final bill included an unexplained additional charge, which was removed only after I challenged and refused to pay it.
Overall, the entire experience felt less like professional car servicing and more like a narrow escape from being scammed.
Would I use GoMechanic again? Absolutely not. I have no intention of using the platform in future and will be uninstalling the app from my phone. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to exercise extreme caution before trusting such services, especially for well-maintained vehicles.
Highly disappointing and terrible experience.
UPDATE: 25/05/2026:
After submitting my feedback through the GoMechanic app, an escalation ticket was generated and the following escalation manager was assigned:

Shockingly, within minutes, I received the following WhatsApp messages:
1. “Your Escalation Manager Ankit Yadav CD tried to reach out to understand your concerns regarding Escalation Ticket ID: E20260523933915683 but could not connect.”
This is an outright falsehood. I received absolutely no call, no SMS communication from anyone from GoMechanic.
2. “Our escalation manager has confirmed that your concern is resolved. We are sure they did their best to provide you with a timely & effective resolution.”
Another completely fabricated statement. No discussion took place, and certainly no resolution was provided. (I would have expected the fabricated health status of my care to be at least dropped / deleted)
This raises serious concerns about the integrity and credibility of GoMechanic’s entire customer support and escalation process. Generating fake “attempted contact” and “issue resolved” updates without even speaking to the customer is deceptive, unethical, and unacceptable.
I am now strongly inclined to believe that the exaggerated and fictitious health issues recorded against my car were deliberately documented as groundwork for pushing unnecessary repairs and extracting more money during future servicing.
The overall setup also appears deeply questionable — a “consolidator” business model operating through loosely connected roadside dodgy workshops with a couple of individuals wearing GoMechanic T-shirts merely to portray legitimacy and brand credibility.
After this experience, I have completely lost trust in GoMechanic. I am uninstalling the app and would strongly advise customers to exercise extreme caution before handing over their vehicles or authorizing any work through them.
My exploratory journey with GoMechanic ends here - PERMANENTLY!!!

Charged me Rs 999 for toll since I requested them for pickup service. Then 2 guys came on a motor cycle, no toll car. My car was not starting. They were unhappy that the car was not starting! Called another mechanic to jump start the battery, I paid extra Rs. 400 from my pocket. I had opted for Comprehensive service, paid around 6k for it. They took the car away. They sent updated invoice with more costs for added repairs along with battery change, the total came up to 16,000. After a week, I noticed that there is a pipe hanging below my car. Upon contacting the mechanic they said that it is normal for Honda cars and it is not their problem. Soon after, I contacted Honda service center and they said that it is hand brake pipe and it needs to be fixed asap else it can be lethal if i drive around bumpers and potholes. Repair cost came to additional 4500.
p.s. - the Gomechanic guys had the audacity to ask me to drive the vehicle to their workshop, even though I have already taken a package for pick and drop. Beyond that, driving this car can be fatal.
Final Verdict - Incompetent team, customer support and mechanic has zero communication amongst themselves. No accountability, even though i have warranty coverage via servicing. They are only proactive when it comes to asking for payment and leaving 5 star reviews. Please be careful with this team.

I trusted gomechanic but after taking their services I can say the following. I have whatsapp proof that they convinced me to go for a package when they said that they will send me videos of each job done.. so it assures me that things are actually being done. But later they send me only 3 videos out of 24 jobs in their list. I was like atleast send the main videos of what I was concerned about.. they denied blatantly.. this is after having whatsapp screenshots.. just imagin.. they don't care .. also they have removed themselves from Google reviews and on mothshut they havealmost 10,000 reviews averaging 1 star! I did not see this at first. It's better to go to a petrol pump and get your oil and topups done because they use poor brands and won't even do what they list in their jobs..

I want to raise a complaint directly with you, as your support team failed to address it, and your escalation team also failed to handle it, despite my making hundreds of phone calls to your team last night.
The thing is last saturday i have booked one of your service, i booked it at saturday morning 8:00 and your service buddy came to pick up the car by 4:PM...and he promised me to deliver the car saturday itself, i was doubt and since i have so many personal health problems which all purpose i need my car to go hospital so and so...i requested your service buddy 100 time and he promised me to deliver the car by saturday itself and once it turn evening, he stopped attending my calls and he havent returned my car on saturday ..I called your support for help, but I realised that all the people whom I talked to in your support team are just there to attend the call and not to solve any issues. But before I gave my car, it was working like a charm...now it has become like an old horse...

GoMechanic is an absolute FRAUD
GoMechanic is an absolute FRAUD. They damaged my reverse camera during service, took the camera out, and NEVER fixed it. After that, they stopped picking my calls and kept giving excuses. Their customer service is a joke — the most pathetic support I have ever seen. They only raise tickets to show activity and then close them by giving a one-second missed call and claiming ‘multiple attempts made’. This is CHEATING.
They add unnecessary items to inflate the bill, try to force extra charges, and when caught, they simply remove items quietly. This is clear proof of their fraudulent practices. GoMechanic doesn’t repair cars — they create MORE problems and then run away from responsibility.
If you value your money and your car, NEVER go to GoMechanic. This company survives on lies, fake promises, and cheating customers. The worst service experience of my life — they deserve 0 stars.

Very very bad service by go mechanic. Helper so called mechanic were not skilled for any service. They make my bill in 6 figures amount. They will send you wassap every day once you leave car at their place for parts replacement. Most of parts their worker brake themselves. I recently service' my skoda they made complete ecm and wiring maintenence as they mentioned in bill l but every 500 mtrs car stopped. There is smoke from engine likely to catch fire. Most worst part service buddy assigned to me who will never come to workshop to see what's the shit going on. Only on calls go mechanic helper will give him information as they like.

I recently had my car serviced through Gomechanic. They picked it up from my home on Monday and returned it on Saturday—almost six days later. Initially, they sent a quotation of Rs. 34,500, citing multiple damaged items. I opted for a normal service and clutch replacement for Rs. 21,000. Despite repeated follow-ups with their agent and customer support regarding the higher quote, I received no proper response.
After the service, when I tested the car, it now sounds like a 20-year-old vehicle, with heavy noise and shaking while starting or stopping. Before the service, the car was smooth with no jerks. Spending Rs. 21,000 for this result has been extremely disappointing. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Gomechanic.

GO MECHANIC - FRAUD CAR REPAIR
Big Frauds, they charged me 78000 for my Honda WRV in December 2024 and they said that they need to change most of the Parts, I paid 78000 and since then I have been facing issues with Gear Shifting, in-spite of several complaints they kept on telling stories that Clutch Plate and Pressure Plate is new so Gear will be ok in sometime, The Problem continued and Gear became harder, finally I had to give my car to another garage where they fixed the issue and confirmed that no suspension and soccer has been changed but Go Mechanic Charged me for the Suspension.
Imagine the level of Frauds they are, cheating people. They take the car and then give a huge budget depending on the client profile.
Do not Trust this Garage and Go Mechanic at all...Big time Frauds..
