This company paid the bill for this site for 10 years, giving anyone access to make a memorial, and visit a memorial, at no cost to anyone... Except them. For anyone to be mad at them because they closed the web site is beyond my understanding!! You are selfish, out of line, and incredibly ignorant to blame them. And if you checked you email, you would have gotten the email telling you in late August that they were closing the site and recommending people to download there info because they weren't getting enough donations, and that they couldn't afford to continue to pay the bill for a service no one else was willing to pay for when they asked for help.

Suddenly closes the accounts without allowing people to get any data from it all memorials just gone with no notice!! Disgusting

Website suddenly closed "due to financial reasons" with loss of all user data.

My father died at the beginning of the year and the family decided to setup an online tribute on the GoneTooSoon website. A few months later I received an unsolicited SMS message from them flogging some "psychic connection" which appears to be affiliated with AllStarPsychics, whatever that is. Of course it costs £1 a message as well.

This stinks of desperation and trying to cash in on people's deaths. I'm sure a lot of lonely and grieving people try to find some comfort in these charlatans who claim to have 'psychic powers' but I consider this offensive. Shame on GoneTooSoon for flogging my details and for being invovled in this awful cashgrab. I would recommend everyone AVOID Gone too soon!
