Worst service ever
Worst service ever. Rep - John is good for nothing guy who is not only rude but has no idea about the customer service. I regret buying the prepaid plan and will try to get out of this service as soon as possible.
Exorbitant Rates for Local Calls.
I was on the Petro Canada plan for a number of years and never had an issue. Then in the span of 4 months, I have been charged the equivalent of one year's billing. In the last 24 hours, I was charged for what would normally be 6 months because I used the phone for 40 minutes over two phone calls according to the support agent. The plan that I was on for Petro Canada is now charging 40 cents per minute for local calls. I was never informed of any rate change and only found out when I started getting ridiculous topup charges. They could not even reimburse my remaining balance for today's topup as a good faith gesture. All in all a very disreputable provider. They could have even notified me that I was not on optimum plan for my usage but they never did so. Best to avoid such a businesse.
Fraud business plan promotion
Fraud business plan promotion. I planned to order a 1GB plan for $5/month. Logically speaking, it would only be $60 a year. But when it came to checkout, it showed that I still had to pay extra $68 in taxes and fees, which was more than the phone plan itself! Ridiculous to the extreme! This is complete fraud! I haven't seen any other company that the tax charges more than the phone bills! ! !

I've had no trouble at all with good2go mobile. I got the 1G plan
And everything works great with AT&T.

ordered a sim card was given no tracking #
Tried to contact support told too busy then they disconnected tried X 5
Tried to reply to there e mail ,will not connect
only one department opened on Sunday ,could not track orders
SMS doesn't work on weekends
I believe they disabled your SMS capabilities on the weekends due to busiest timeframe. All the SMS will start to load at around Sunday's night or Monday (so you might get ~100-500 messages at the same timestamp)
Exactly what other reviews say
Exactly what other reviews say. They over charge you when you prepay for the month instead of applying the amount to your monthly payment. Chargers “may” apply but they don’t tell you when or warn you. You end up paying ridiculous amounts. The “in your control” advertising is false advertising.
refund denied on inactive account
when speaking with an agent I was assured that our account would be cancelled and an unnecessary top up charge would be reversed—-never happened and when following up with another agent a few days later was advised that the refund was over ruled by a supervisor and the account was still active
Total Scam - purchased a dead SIM card
Bought a SIM card at a petro Canada station and put Loney in the account but when I insert the SIM card, both my iPhone and android say no sim. The card they sold me was a dead one and I tried to call several times over multiple days and all I get is “all our agents are busy” then they hang up the phone, so you basically can’t talk to them to solve any problems you may have
Making Affordable Option More Expensive Since This Company Took Over Petro Mobility
Ever since they took over Petro Mobility, they disable data on pay per use accounts. I can't get data without monthly subscription now and as a prepaid use, I only want to spend when I need it.
It Sucks Now, I do not reccomend!
This company used to be good. If you notice in 2020 it had great ratings and when I first started I had no issues, but service has been steadily declining. IF you need any support or are having issues with your phone you have to EMAIL them and WAIT for help. Yes, they have a 1800 number but if your question is not straight forward, then you have to wait which is problematic when your phone is not working. They also have a handful of employees working their call center who are pretty unhappy. Even if you call another time, you are likely to get the same person so you cannot make much progress and are stonewalled until someone decides to respond to your email.
They also misrepresent the ACP program. I had a ATT phone, and Good2go mobile provided me a ATT SIM card. I paid my bill every month and had no issues with service. So, I heard about the ACP, qualified waited on the sim and the minute I inserted it the network was locked. they kept trying to blame ATT when Good2go lies and provides you a T-mobile SIM. They are not upfront that if you are an ACP user, you cannot use your previous SIM card, they put you on T-mobiles network which sucks. Because of their unscrupulous behavior, I would NOT recommend them anymore and have cancelled my service.
My first plan went very well..or so I…
My first plan went very well..or so I thought. Here is where it becomes very scary. I lost my old phone.
I wiped it and locked it via Google. I bought a new phone. I had to call to activate it with sim I received.
In the mean time. Someone ordered 6 new sims using my debit card. Good2go was more than happy to sell them. Even though. The card they used was already on another account. I stopped that by getting a new card.
Good2go took my info over the phone. At first everything seemed fine. Then 2 weeks later. I find I can not get into my new acct and my data has stopped working. Many of these reviews say they can not contact good2phone and get a human. Yet, I do.
Now, I'm concerned if really talking to good2go.
Well, the human seems to have all my info right. But, I truly believe this company has some shady people working for them or worse. They have been hacked.
Cause now they have a new "more secure" way of signing into acct. The problem is. It does not work.
Now, I have no data and I don't know if I am talking to good2go. Honestly, I would think twice about using this company. There is something shady going on. Be very careful about who you give your info to. The number they have listed on websites may not be good2go.
They don't seem to care. I am in the process of trying to get a human on the phone. So far. All I get is scripted junk that tells me to enter my phone number.
When I do. It says I have no account. Yet, I used the phone for 3 weeks. Now, no data. I would think twice about using this company. I think they may have been hacked and are not being honest about it. Just beware.
Would be better if living human beings could be present
The signup process was quick and easy. It took hardly no time at all for the SIM card to arrive. This is where I started having problems.
I tend to get ahead of directions, so put in the SIM card and then started going through the steps of porting the number over and activating my account. Well, the porting took almost 48 hours, although the site said a couple of hours.
I brought my own phone, and for some reason while compatible with the carrier it wouldn't connect in the back end although they were showing that service was connected.
The only aspect of this situation I don't like or appreciate is the inability to speak with a living, breathing human being who could resolve these types of issues quickly WITHOUT having to rely on email.
Could not do much
Could not do much, texting was hit or mis, Couldn't send photos, sometimes waited for calls to go through and had to dial the number twice, crap customer service.
Starts optimistically, ends in a disaster
My initial plan seemed to work adequately. My second plan was a disaster from the start. A promised AT&T SIMcard was replaced with a T-moblie SIM that worked poorly or not at all. The replacement card arrived and my phone has been without service for 8 days. I can't get an explanation from support other than Tier 3 should resolve the problem in an hour and confirm with an eMail. Now, it's been over a week and 5 calls later - still now resolution.
good customer service
the service did not work with my phone so they gave me my acct. number and pin and a refund. When I called about something else the guy was relaxed and pleasant.
Worst attitude
I was looking for a basic plan while out of a job and being homebound. I live in the middle of a big city but 1/3 of the time I get no signal. I called customer service, he blamed it on my phone, Apple, and then blamed it on my plan. I ended up recording our conversation and he gave me an attitude for recording him because he was giving me false information. I called the customer service serveral times, and he was the only one that answered the phone. Do NOT use this company. I also got a LOT of weird calls after I signed up with them, which made me suspect my information was sold.
I will not go into detail as to my…
I will not go into detail as to my experience. They have lied to me so many times I have lost count. I still do not have cell service on my $800.00 phone despite the fact my number was ported to this company. They are not to be trusted to tell the truth on any subject. I should have stayed with my other company and I would be able to use my cell right now. If you do not mind frustration and lying try them out. Otherwise bypass them for another company and save yourself headaches. If you do call them watch out for Miriam, Daniel and supervisors named Stephanie and Christopher (they care not about their company's reputation)
Seems like a scam
I received my sim card but their online information and email information did not provide sufficient instructions on setting it up. I called tech support three times and each time the phone was picked up almost instantly by someone named Henry, who was unable to connect me with a manager or their tech support team. On the two days I called I was told I had totally separate issues, neither of which made any sense.
The website and packaging of this service seems legitimate, but I can't help thinking this is somehow a scam. I have already asked to cancel my service and they said I could get a refund, though what for I don't know since I never had service and the sim wasn't charged for.
no customer service to talk to
no customer service to talk to, stealing money from my credit card, needed to call my credit card company to stop it
be careful with this company
