Poor after care service
I used Goodwins to help relocate us to our new home. The price was similar to others but a little cheaper and we decided to give them a go. The guys who turned up to do the two day move were professional and made me feel at ease with the move and did help to reduce the stress.
However, a few weeks after the move, and we had finally unpacked the boxes, we realised we had a few boxes missing. Nothing major but kitchen box with oven trays etc, bedroom box which included a kindle and a lounge box that included an articial plant. As I say, nothing of significant value but I highlighted this to the company to be told it was too late to report and nothing they could do. I did take out insurance with them but as we packed the boxes, it didn't cover the contents!!! We moved from a large 5 bedroom house and they expect you to report any issues within 7 days, which is impossible to be fully unpacked for most people in that timescale. I would not recommend for this reason as their after care is pretty poor.
