Derby store visit
I visited the Derby store looking for a pair of walking shoes, and whilst deciding which shoes to try on I was asked by a sales assistant if I would like any assistance.
The information I received from Xaina was extremely helpful and I was able to make a decision quickly. Xaina was very knowledgeable and pleasant.

Grest variety of options for camping…
Grest variety of options for camping that achaully work and can reused in all weathers. Brought a pair of chairs for a festival and they survived the rain and cold conditions.shop is spacious on a quite day but could improve the tent variety options. Everything is very affordable if you have the members card (highly recommended to camping hobbiests. Staff look bored and tired but it is the 6 week holidays and summer has just been so I’m not expecting them to be happy. Very helpful staff members despite tiredness and they are kind.

Really simple return process
Really simple return process. I had ordered a tent online which was faulty when it arrived. Simply went to the Derby store and got a replacement. The whole process was easy, member of staff Liam was excellent.

Usually I would give 5 stars but not today...
So as a frequent customer to your store, normally I would give 5 stars for the horse section, but based on today's experience, not so good. I've been looking out for some Leovet hoof balm for a few weeks now as I am running low but every time I've been in recently the shelf is empty. I didn't need anything else today so I checked the stock online as I didn't want a wasted journey. It said there was one in stock. So I go to my local store and once again the shelf is empty. There's no-one on the Naylor's counter or anywhere within the Naylor's section to ask. One of your staff did very kindly check in the back for me but there was none. He suggested I order online. I don't want to order everything online but as suggested, I did try to order it on your website and it told me you can't deliver to the store - so now what?? I'm forced to pay an extra £3.95 delivery charge to have it delivered to my house?? No thank you. I've just ordered it online from somewhere in Ireland for £12.95 and free delivery to arrive next Wednesday or Thursday. Please don't become one of these online only places. I like the convenience of coming to your store, having choice (which is usually good), and being able (usually)to get everything I need.

Awful service from start to finish.
I placed an online order for an upcoming camping trip, but due to a system issue, the order failed to process. I waited two weeks without any updates before having to spend over an hour on the phone arranging a refund because the items could no longer be delivered in time for my trip.
I then placed a Click & Collect order and had to wait five days for it to arrive. When I went to collect it, only half of the order was there. Even though the missing items were in stock at the store, the staff said they couldn’t give them to me because they had to come through the Click & Collect system first. Their only solution was for me to buy the items again in store, wait for the original order to arrive, and then return to the store for a refund.
In the end, I had to pay three times and receive two refunds just to complete a single order. It was an absolute waste of time caused by poor communication and an inefficient system. This is by far the worst company I’ve dealt with, and I won’t be ordering from them again.

From reviewing your order we can see that you have been in contact with our customer care team in relation to this who advised the order had unfortunately failed due to a system error to which a full refund was issued. We appreciate that this is not the outcome you were expecting with this order and it has been looked into by our technical team to ensure this does not occur again.
In relation to your second order, this was placed on our standard Click and Collect service which can take 3-5 days to be delivered to the selected collection location once despatched. We can see that the order was delivered to the selected store within this timeframe and is ready to be collected at your earliest convenience. When collecting your order please take your order confirmation email and ID with you.
All feedback that we receive is important to us and we hope you will allow us to improve on the experience had in the future.
