GO Outdoors - Taunton Reviews 

I’m pleased with all the items I ordered for click and collect, but the click and collect service information stating next day collected is rather optimistic. I placed an order on a Friday and waited a couple days to receive an email stating the items were ready. I didn’t not receive any email, so after a week called to find out where the items were. They had been sat on the shop floor waiting to be collected for 4 days but the email never came through. The next day collection information is therefore a bit misleading in some instances. Nevertheless the customer service team were very helpful, and I have no complaints about the items themselves.

Jonathan couldn't have been more helpful helping me choose some hiking shoes. He had great product knowledge and patiently brought many pairs for me to try on. He juggled several customers at once with cheerful communication while he gave us all his best attention. Would highly recommend this tidy store with great staff, thank you.

Meant to have done this sometime ago nipped in to look at some walking trainers spoke with a chap called Jonathan who was helpful knowledgeable non-pushy. We kind of knew what we were looking for which he recognised so when we started to think about it we’ve always had good service from Go outdoors in Taunton probably deserved this long overdue review thanks Jonathan they made a great birthday present.

I wanted to take the time to explain why great service from the staff makes me feel happy to buy regularly from the Taunton GoOutdoors store. By good service, I mean that there are plenty of staff available, all are pleasant, have good knowledge, and if there's ever an issue/query, help you to resolve it without any hassle.
As well as buying goods, the ability to send and receive parcels from an easy and friendly location also keeps me visiting, browsing and buying.
During my visit today, Alex's service really stood out for me. Being a frequent visitor to the store, he has made the effort to remember my name and sometimes even fetches my parcels before I reach the till - this is a great personal touch He also helped me feel confident purchasing some damaged clearance items, helping me grab a bargain.

Visited to buy walking shoes for both my wife and me. There was a very good selection, almost too many.
We were served by Jonathan who was excellent. As well as serving us both he also had at least two other customers to attend to. Our service was exemplary, knowledgeable and friendly. Once Jonathan established our needs he was able to guide us to a short list. From there he guided us to our final choices. We were both very happy with his service and his patience. Good service & advice

We popped in to see if we could get some DofE boots for my daughter. Jonathan was really helpful and knowledgeable. We feel that we have made the right choice for boots and socks. He was also very tolerant of my son who was full of energy and was not in the least bit interested in boots shopping. Jonathan successfully engaged him in a chat that ceased the need to do laps of the shop!

Helped today by Jonathan on the shoe and boot side of the store. Very polite and a wealth of knowledge, nothing was too much trouble.
