BAD EXPERIENCE

I would give this company zero stars if I could. Dealing with them was a complete roller coaster. To keep this short, here are the hard lessons I learned:

1. Verify mileage before and after your purchase. They could use the vehicle for their own person runs.

2. Understand the contract: They can choose to repair instead of refunding you. They will avoid giving your money back at all costs.

3. Use your own tow truck. The moment the vehicle leaves their property, you lose all leverage for a refund.

4. Hire a third-party mechanic. Do not trust their in-house "Level 1" inspection; it is misleading.

While the staff is friendly, that is where the positivity ends. Do not let the pleasant attitudes fool you—they are focused on commissions, not customers, and their business practices lack transparency.

The worst

The worst
We had been with Penske for years
Took their increases
Their really long time to repair
The final outcome
We were TERMINATED during a national disaster
We told the manufacturing had slowed down, then Hurricane Helene hit
I guess what goes on in the world doesn't matter
Their customer service is the worst anyway
Bye Bye

Super rude employees

Super rude employees, was told I would be there for 10-15 minutes as we dropped a tire off the day before.

Without communicating anything they decided to do all 4 on a truck that has half the miles the tires are even rated for.

So I sat for an hour not knowing what was going on, eventually I asked and they had no idea, eventually someone communicated with me and said they needed 40 more minutes.

It’s been 2 hours 20 minutes and I’m still sitting in the freezing cold with no truck.

I’m going to be super late for my second job, and I’m definitely riding home in the rain on my motorcycle now.

If they said they needed to do all 4, I would’ve grabbed another truck and switched my load and given 5 stars for communication. This company sucks.

Great company it was way cheaper than…

Great company it was way cheaper than any of the other companies available. My only problem was they wouldnt take my card and I had to go pay an ATM to get cash and then it was an extra 100$ to pay with cash which you get back when you turn the truck in sometimes.

Fantastic Service

These guys went above and beyond to help us with our move. We ran into a couple of issues that needed to be addressed and they were there to help out. We did have a bit of a wait for these issues, but in the end, we're completely satisfied.

My car was damaged and they refuse to take responsibility for it

At the time I arrived at 9 am my appointment time to get the truck, they were polite but they did not have the correct method transportation for my car, and it took them 45 minutes for me to receive the truck, and I had to wait to the end of the business day at 5:45 pm when I received my dolly the wrong form of transportation for my car, when I asked for a trailer for my car and they did not have one available, because they stated that they rarely have them available. I never wanted the dolly, I wanted a trailer for my car. The dolly was then not properly installed, which caused my car to be damaged due to the improper installment of my car on the dolly. The front bumper of my car as well as the under carriage was damaged from the dolly. Then my car sled off while in traffic, luckily there were no cars behind me or in the area which could have been dangerous. I then had to wait another two and a half hours for the car to be placed on the dolly properly. When I then found that the back bumper also had been damaged. So now I am in the process of trying to get my car repaired and am getting resistance from the company that damaged it and will not take responsibility for the damages, furthermore I could not in good conscious recommend Penske after the treatment I have received. I was also told that I denied several insurance opportunities for my car but was never told or presented any of the offers for insurance for my car. I was only offered the insurance for the truck which I was told that I had to have it.

Reservation, but no Truck Luck

On July 15th 2017 I had a reservation for a 16 foot truck to help my family with a residential move. I went to the 350 S. Main St., Newark, DE 19711 location and found they did not have a 16 foot truck. This made my move horrendous. We received a smaller truck, had to make multiple trips, and ruining the ENTIRE weekend, when it was only to have been a half of a day. I was assured I would have a truck and did not. I am not sure what kind of business takes reservations but does not honor them? I will not be using them in the future.
