I really recommend the non-electric tray for outdoor cooking. Using the provided electric tray damaged the filament along the bottom. GoSun was really appeasing to replace the electric tray for us at a discount as I transitioned the original broken one into a long-term non-electric. The extra was bought for our other Fusion.

I bought this extra Fusion tray as a spare to supplement my setup. Having a second tray makes my cooking more efficient as I can have that second batch ready to go in with no delay once the first tray is finished. Cooking with a solar oven requires a different approach, different management. Using two separate trays simplifies my larger batches.
