Uncommunicative and Longest Wait Time for Ordered Products
I ran into a lot of issues ordering from you. The rep was very hard to get ahold of and not very helpful in providing information about the status of my order. Within a month and a half, I had received only 1/3 of the parts I had ordered. After repeated emails to the rep, I was told that something was backordered, and ended up having to cancel it and order from somewhere else, receiving it within 2 days. If items are backordered or not being produced, that should be communicated to customers instead of allowing them to just wait for products that are not coming. Very frustrating overall experience and would not recommend to others.

Been buying from GovConnection for 15 years. Mined you, we have too. I recently purchased a Microsoft surface. Wow...my worst experience in 25 years of being in this industry. Microsoft is a rip off...Always has been. (except Software) You should not sell a product that nobody stands by unless you over pay every step of the way. Part is my fault for not knowing you need an extra insurance policy for the screen. It is the only laptop you need to purchase a separate policy for the screen. YOU SHOULD NOT SELL ANY MICROSOFT DEVICES...They are not good for a business's IT budget....All they want is to up charge you ever step of the way....How can you justify the over-charges when there are products and companies that are not like that. Why sell or buy MICROSOFT Devices? .

After placing an order with a RUSH…nothing was RUSHED
After placing an order with a RUSH delivery, I waited for one week and heard NOTHING from GovConnection about my order. After calling my rep on day 7, she told me that our order would be processed that day. AMEX dinged the charge for fraud and I immediately approved it after I was made aware. Then, Crickets -- I heard nothing from Gov Connection! After another 5 days, I called the Corporate Customer service number and complained again, that after paying for rush delivery, my order had been most definitely not rushed by our rep. Finally, my order was overnighted and delivered 12 days after I initially ordered. Who knows if I would have ever received it, had I not followed up repeatedly.

It is so easy to just go to the public sector site, sign in (of course you have to obtain permission by Connection to register your email), and look for what it is you need. As soon as you place your order, your area Rep sends you an email that thanks you for your order and outlines your order noting it is being processed. If you pay with a p-card or credit card, your receipt is sent to you by your Rep. It's that easy!
