Untrustworthy - sent me damaged goods and refused to refund
I was sent faulty goods and they are failing to acknowledge this. This company hides behind its policy that if something is damaged in transit you need to send it back within 48 hours or there is no refund. They sent me creased wallpaper with damaged edges that was not usuable. This was wallrock paper - special thick paper designed for places with condensation/damp - and it was the decorator who opened the box two weeks after delivery - who told me this was not good enough to use. He said with normal wallpaper you can use the wallpaper paste to smooth it out, but not with this type of paper. I would not have known this.
The box it arrived in was indeed damaged in transit - but - it was not marked fragile, there was no bubble wrap or bark chippings - 3 rolls of wallpaper were left to move around in the box - so it was not properly packaged in the first place. From my perspective, more importantly, some of the creases are right in the middle of the roll, where it was rolled inside - and could not have been caused by damage in transit. It was damaged before it went into the box.
As someone else says on here, you cannot expect a customer to unroll each roll of wallpaper completely on receipt of ther order! This only happens when it is ready to be used. Others have obviously had similar bad experiences.
I am very angry that I paid £142.96 for unusable wallpaper and am not enitiled to a refund through no fault of my own. I would not recommend this company to anybody.

Our delivery terms, which are clearly stated on our website and provided before purchase, require that all wallpaper deliveries are inspected within 48 hours of receipt and that any transit damage is reported within this timeframe. This is because our courier companies will not accept claims for damaged goods after this period, leaving us unable to recover the costs of replacement items once the claim window has expired.
In this case, the order was not reported as damaged until more than a week after delivery, well outside both our inspection period and the courier's claims window. As a result, we have no way of determining when or how the damage occurred. The package had been in the customer's possession for an extended period before the issue was raised, making it impossible for us to verify whether the damage happened during transit, storage, handling, or at a later stage.
The customer states that the outer box was damaged in transit, yet this was not reported upon delivery. Had we been informed within the required timeframe, we would have been able to investigate the matter with the courier and work towards a resolution. Unfortunately, once the courier's claim period has expired, this is no longer possible.
It is also worth noting that during the course of the complaint, additional issues were raised that had not been mentioned initially. We carefully considered all of the information provided but, without a timely report or the opportunity to investigate while the courier claim remained valid, we could not substantiate the claims being made.
We strongly disagree with the suggestion that we knowingly supplied damaged goods. Every roll is inspected during the packing process before being dispatched, and thousands of wallpaper orders are shipped successfully each year using the same packaging methods. While transit damage can occasionally occur despite our best efforts, this is precisely why we ask customers to inspect deliveries promptly and report any issues within 48 hours.
We appreciate that this outcome is disappointing for the customer, but our policy is not designed to avoid responsibility. It exists because it reflects the time limits imposed by our delivery partners and allows genuine transit damage claims to be investigated fairly.
We remain committed to providing excellent customer service and treating every customer consistently and fairly by applying the same published terms to every order.

Ordering and payment were…
Ordering and payment were straightforward, however Fedex were not very clear or efficient in communicating regarding delivery. First delivery unannounced so nobody in. Second delivery date amended twice so rather inconvenient. The paper is absolutely beautiful so worth the wait!

Wallpaper delivered to different address
No wallpaper!
The delivery driver called 3 times leaving no calling card so impossible to collect from the sorting office.
Go wallpaper will not refund unless goods are returned so after multiple correspondence with them regarding this issue I still have no wallpaper and no refund
* As an update to my review , the wallpaper was finally located ( sent to the wrong address) and I was able to go to the address where I found my wallpaper propped behind a Wheely bin , luckily the overnight rain had not damaged the package.
In the end Go wallpaper did intervene and correspond with the post office to try and locate the wallpaper after repeated attempts by myself , getting absolutely nowhere.
It was very stressful and a totally unnecessary series of events that could have been alleviated with better correspondence and intervention.
As a good will gesture, Go wallpaper they have refunded part of the order value for all the trouble and distress caused.
