This is the third throat plate in three years using the fire correctly, regularly serviced, but the straps used and welds used are inferior for the job they are supposed to do. There should be at least three to four straps across the plate opening for keeping the gaps between the top and bottom layers in place! The SS plate buckles too easy because of welds and strap breaking away! Whoever manufactures this part for the Arada s4 inset multiburner must address these issues. More straps, wider straps, more welds.
The throat plate buckles so easily, it needs more fixing to secure top plate etc .This is my 3rd throat plate, I am not amused .I wish I had purchased a different multi fuel stove. I am having to secure the front of the throat plate with self tapping screws to stop the throat plate from twisting > right or wrong I don't know!!!???
Replaced with ease as the original was warped!
