Great hotel

Great location, my room was huge and clean, all the staff were friendly and helpful! Me and my daughter enjoyed our stay.

Our stay was far from magical

Our stay was far from magical. The rooms were extremely poorly insulated, and when we complained, the front desk simply called our neighbors to ask them to lower their voices, completely missing the point. They were talking at a normal volume, but because of the thin walls, we could hear every word. This seriously affected our rest, which is essential during a Disney visit. On top of that, we were not offered another room, even though this was mid-September, which is far from a busy period.

Breakfast was also unpleasant. The staff looked unhappy and were extremely loud with the dishes, creating a stressful, rushed atmosphere.

The hotel itself is in poor condition. Chairs and benches in the Magic Hall and buffet area are damaged, and the bathrooms are outdated with discolored sealant.

We also tried the dinner buffet, which was €39 per person. For that price, the selection was very limited, and the food did not taste particularly fresh or worth the cost.

If you only need a place for a short stay during a quiet period, this hotel might be sufficient. But for anything more, it is far from ideal. Based on all these issues, I do not believe this hotel deserves a 4-star rating.

Wonderful experience

I’m surprised to read some of the reviews on here as I don’t believe they reflect our experience at all.
Firstly. Regarding the shuttle bus. This is a bus serving a number of hotels and therefore not the responsibility of the hotel itself. So although, during busy times, it’s very busy, it is what it is.

Onto the positives.
The staff are super helpful and friendly.
The facilities are outstanding throughout the hotel with particular interest to our children. Swimming pool, bouncy castles and games rooms. Really useful.

Yes. It’s expensive for food and drink. It’s a local hotel to Disneyland. That’s the deal. I’d say bring your own if you’re bothered.

To be honest. We stayed 3 nights and then went onto another part of France but enjoyed our stay so much we came back at the end of the holiday for one more night.
We will be coming again once Disneyland expands in a couple of years.

Unorganised

So basically, it was our first day here and we had to wait 2 hrs for our meal. The dining area was soooo unorganised and there was this lady and she was absolutely useless! She walked past our table tons of times and didn’t clean it up. When I told them my daughter was tired and needed her pudding, we had to wait and wait and wait.

However the room was really nice

I don’t recomend

This hotel is a joke

This hotel is a joke, 3 lifts out of 5 are broken, the shuttle bus is too small for the amount of people getting on. The dining room is too small. 30 minutes wait to get in for breakfast, personally I would avoid this hotel...

Couples Disney Christmas

Positives: gorgeous bar area which serves the most gorgeous food platters charcuterie board especially
Regular free shuttles to the Disney parks
Lovely friendly multi lingual staff
Very nice rooms comfortable
Delicious food and surroundings

Negatives: pillows beyond useless more like sofa cushions too small for size of bed and only get 1.
Only 3 English TV channels and all bbc news
Food quite expensive but it is a Disney hotel €35 for all you can eat buffet pp or €18 and upwards to order off menu
Breakfast all you can eat but doesn't change at all so can become boring (don't season the scrambled eggs already very salty)
Was a couple of lifts broke but ones that work very slow

Despite this would stay again it's a lovely hotel just a few minor kinks but nothing major that affected the enjoyment of our holiday

Grand Magic Hotel

Was really disappointed with this hotel and definitely won’t be going back. The restaurant is really expensive, yes the breakfast is included in the price but it is a total free for all people pushing to get what they want, the lifts were out of order a lot of the time and the reading lamps in the room didn’t work and the safe kept breaking. There is a free shuttle bus to the Disney Park but what a total joke, it was utterly dangerous and people were jam packed in like sardines, the bus was for 5 different hotels and people were pushing to get on even before you were able to get off the bus and the driver didn’t say a word. So so dangerous, think long and hard before booking this hotel.

Stunning hotel

Took my 6 year old to Disneyland Paris for his birthday but couldn’t afford the Disney hotels as they are extortionate. This hotel is as good as if not better than some of the Disney hotels (I have stayed in a few previously as this was my 4th visit). It’s beautiful, clean, the rooms are lovely, the breakfast is great. I honestly can’t fault it. We have already decided that we will be returning next year and staying here. The bar area is a sight to behold. It’s absolutely stunning.
